Not our favorite.
The apartment is newly for short stays so there are a lot of bugs and learning to do before I would stay again. The hot water heater turned off when not used. The manager showed us how to restart, but I don’t think that should be the norm. We restarted it twice a day. There is no public transportation to/from the apartment. You must walk nearly a mile uphill to the train station, where busses also start. No busses stop anyplace near the apartment so you must walk back also. The taxis do not want to go to the apartment, since isn’t a long enough drive for them. Trying to schedule a taxi isn’t easy either, they either don’t answer the phone or it’s busy. The townsfolk recognize the taxi service is terribly inadequate. There are no rental bikes that we could find, but the uphill ride would be rough, and not an option with luggage. The bus service - no one can provide a route map nor tell you where the stops are. No Uber in the town. You must walk everywhere.
The manager is responsive. Housekeeper left only ½ roll of toilet paper for a four day stay. Manager bought and delivered more to us. When we had no hot water, he was at the apartment making necessary steps to get the water going within 20 minutes. When I injured my arm and couldn’t push luggage uphill for a mile, he drove us up the train station himself. &
We’ve been traveling and using vacation apartments for 6 weeks in Europe. This was the only property with which we were dissatisfied. Hopefully since they are new to this, the manager can help the owner make it better.
