Perfectly located on the doorstep of the wonderful natural scenery of the Southwest Devon coast and the selection of amenities and attractions of the vibrant coastal resort town of Torquay, this lovely spacious cottage set over two floors provides the perfect romantic escape! The spacious cottage enjoys beautiful sea and garden views and features solid wood flooring and fine antique furniture for a touch of refinement and comfort.
On the ground floor, you can find a fully equipped galley-style kitchen, a modern fitted bathroom with a power shower and a delightful, exceptionally spacious open-plan sleeping and living area. Guests can enjoy relaxing on the comfortable sofas which face the sunny cottage garden and provide the perfect place to unwind with a good book or to enjoy a movie on the large Smart TV with DVD player. Behind one of the sofas is a beautiful king-size bed with bedside tables, a mirror and a wardrobe. On the first floor, you’ll find a smaller L-shaped kitchen unit, which is fitted with all the desired cooking appliances. The kitchen and living area features French doors leading out to the pretty, sunny balcony with amazing sea views. Al fresco dining can be enjoyed out on the terrace, as well as inside at the more formal dining area.
From the property, the 22 miles of glorious South Devon coastline is easily accessible via the nearby South West Coast Path. Guests can enjoy exploring and marvelling over the dramatic heritage shore with its beaches, woodland trails and picturesque seaside towns including Dartmouth (12 miles) and Brixham (9.5 miles). The vibrant seaside resort town of Torquay (2 miles) with its wide selection of restaurants, bars and shops has a picturesque Victorian-era resort with a palm-lined promenade, pleasure grounds and grand sweeping Regency crescents with harbour walks. Local visitor attractions provide the ideal place from which to explore the breathtaking surrounding area and coastline.
