About this property
Pipistrelle Barn - One Bedroom House, Sleeps 2
Hidden away in a peaceful little valley with countryside all around this is a lovely barn conversion that provides a brilliant holiday retreat. It has been beautifully decorated and furnished with lots of attention to detail. There is a lovely lounge and superbly equipped dining kitchen on the ground floor and the classy bedroom and modern shower room are on the lower ground floor. Outside you will find a great patio with furniture backing on to open fields together with private parking.
If you can bear to tear yourself away from this wonderful little cottage, then you’re in for a real treat. Being just down from the centre of Kniveton you’re not far from some fantastic local walks, including up to Madge Hill. A short drive away is Wirksworth, a magnet for lovers of history and heritage. Kniveton is only 3 miles away from the market town of Ashbourne, with more than two-hundred listed buildings, you’ll want to explore its fascinating history and architecture. Browse the country shores, antique shops and art galleries. A little further afield is Buxton and Bakewell - both great places to explore.
