Disappointing stay

The cottage was very cute and in a great location . The fresh flowers were a beautiful touch but we found it lacking in other ways! No toilet paper on arrival , main bed uncomfortable with poor quality duvet and pillows. Sofa propped up by books in the lounge !! Not great value for money

Nice getaway

Lovely quirky little property, all facilities we needed Welcome basket was a nice touch Slightly isolated from Bourton, we did walk it but could be a bit of a challenge for some Good base for exploring further afield - Costwold Falconry centre and Wildlife park were excellent value

A fantastic Cotswold stay

We really enjoyed our time at Little Mullions. The property was clean and all the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Our host left a nice welcome package that really was such a wonderful way to start our trip to the Cotswolds. We have a family of 5 and had plenty of room to sleep and play games card games on the ground floor. Pros: Quiet, clean, plenty of room, exactly as described, great host. Cons: The road to Bourton-on-the-water was closed which made a 5 min trip 20 mins (this was unique for our vacation). If you have a hard time moving around the stairs and shower would make it more difficult. All in all I would highly recommend Little Mullions.

A Perfect Stay

We had a great weeks stay at Little Mullions. There were two of us and our Labrador and our son joined us for a long weekend from London and we collected him from Kingham station which was really handy. The property was very clean and well equipped and the welcome hamper was a lovely touch (milk, butter, jam, bread, eggs and yoghurt) and there were also teabags and instant coffee. The house felt warm and cosy when we arrived. The central heating was set to come on should the temperature drop and we were also able to boost it should we wish via a stand alone unit. However we couldn’t have asked for better weather and only really needed to warmth to dry the bath towels, which were large and soft. My only gripe was the electric shower, not that powerful for me but that’s personal preference, the men thought it was fine! It is an old and quirky house and as described and we loved it. The beds were firm and comfortable for us and blackout blinds in the bedrooms helped as there is a street light right outside the main bedroom. There is a stone flagged floor downstairs which is perfect when you have dogs. The car parking space is only a few minutes walk away off the main road but you are able to park outside initially to unload as you arrive. We didn’t use the courtyard garden as we were out most days and it was in the shade when we returned but it looks a good space to enjoy in the summer. We picked this property due to its proximity to Bourton and the fact we were able to walk there, which we did on two occasions, once over fields via Wyck Rissington finishing at the Greystones Nature Reserve and once via the road, which had a path. We used the local walks book provided and would recommend the circular walk from Broadway Tower to the village and back. The hill back to the tower is a killer though! We prebooked the car park/tower before going and collected our ticket from the cafe shop. We also did the circular walk from Burford parking in the free car park near the church. We visited many villages and enjoyed a meal or a drink in most and enjoyed all of them, here’s a few:- Evening Burgers at Smiths of Bourton Sunday lunch at the Plough Inn at Ford Lunch at the Legbar Dalesford on the terrace in the sun ☀️ Dinner at the Kings Head Bledington Would we come again… definitely

Great location

I found the bathroom facilities very poor for myself and my partner we are in our 70s and the shower over the high Bath was very difficult for us. This should be mentioned in the description. The road very very noisy. We did miss no Tv just downloading available which if my daughter was not With us we would struggle with this. Maybe not property for older customers.

Lovely cottage.

All my family really enjoyed our stay at your cottage, it was wonderful to be in a traditional Cotswold stone place. We loved the open plan lounge and dining room and all the beds were very comfortable. We also enjoyed a bit of time in the courtyard when the sun came out. It was a perfect location and a couple of times we walked into Bourton on the Water, which was close by. Amazing holiday, thank you.

Perfect for our stay - packs in a lot of creature comforts inside a well designed cosy cottage

We were a family of 6, 3 couples and a baby, initially struggling to get 3 double beds (not 1 or 2 twins like most properties offer) at a reasonable rate over the peak Easter Period in the Cotswold. Reasonable rates and Cotswolds - not exactly something easy to find. The Cottage is full of traditional Cotswold character but also offers all the modern creature comforts required. It makes the most of some limited cozy spaces (albeit the main bedroom is huge), with clever layouts especially the dining and lounge area. For the baby we were also offered a Travel Cot, child gates for the staircase and a high chair. A load we could avoid taking with us on a short break. Fully and very well-equipped with all amenities for self-catering especially breakfast and in our case for most dinners. Communication and instructions throughout the process were excellent, all queries about our prior concern with parking for 3 cars were clear and easy to understand. A welcome hamper on arrival was a lovely touch. A mere 4 to 5 min drive from Bourton on Water, ideally located to many renowned sights in the lovely area that is the Cotswolds. Overall it was perfect for us - a feel like home base when you returned from a busy day out sightseeing.

Perfect base for exploring some beautiful parts of the Cotswolds

Everything you could want as a base for exploring! Comfortable beds, hot shower with good pressure, spacious living/socialising area for relaxing at the end of the day, and super peaceful at night. Plus only a few minutes drive to Bourton and 15 minutes to Stow makes it a great location. We were 5 adults (well 4 and an 18 year old), and still found the cottage to have tons of space. Just mind your head if you're on the taller side :)

Everyone’s happy

A family of 4 with dogs had a very pleasant stay at Little Mullions. The property is beautifully quaint with a wonderful stone floor on the ground level, the living area is comfortable and spacious enough for all. In the kitchen I had everything I needed to hand. The first floor has a cavernous bedroom on 1 side, the other 2 bedrooms are deceptively roomy; the low beams on the second floor are gorgeous. My wife commented on how clean the bedding is Parking about 50 yards down the road was never a problem. Fantastic location and base site for visiting places like Burford, Burton and the Slaughters.

A good cottage for the Cotswolds

A lovely cottage, the location was good for exploring the Cotswolds. The cottage is small and only has one bathroom so be prepared if you are a group of people to wait for a shower. The cottage could do with some tidying up, for example, the paint in the bathroom is quite a mess and there is mould around the window. The crockery cupboard proved as we did not enjoy eating on bamboo plates.

Fabulous weekend away

The cottage was just lovely. Quaint and characterful, clean and well equipped. Very comfortable and fitted 6 adults, a 3 year old and a baby. We stayed on the coldest weekend of the year but the heating was efficient and extra blankets and thick towels provided extra warmth. A second bathroom and toilet would have made life slightly easier but with a bit of organisation we managed. Same with extra parking as we had 3 cars. The welcome treats were a bonus and there was great communication with Charlotte the manager. We will return as the cottage is ideally located for lots to see and do in the beautiful Cotswolds. Thankyou

Lovely stay in the autumn

We had a lovely long weekend at Little Mullions. This was our first visit to the Cotswolds and the cottage is perfectly located, near the buzzing town of Bourton, with easy circular walking trails - and with a car we were able to visit different landmarks in no time. Cottage was cosy and exactly what we needed for a family getaway.

Weekend break for adult family of 6 at Little Mullions

Lovely cottage in a charming village with numerous local walks & within a short drive of many of the Cotswolds' beautiful sights We had a fantastic weekend. Thank you. One slight criticism is the cottage description & photograph does not make it clear that the allocated parking space for the property is some 80 yards away. it was only when arrival instructions came after booking that this became evident. This may be an issue for some Overall though - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Long Weekend

I booked this stay to recoup after my losing husband with a few close friends. Overall, we had a nice weekend away in the Cotswolds. Village location nice and only a short (ish) walk to Bourton. Welcome pack was thankfully received and we enjoyed. On arrival we were some towels short, but this was quickly resolved by the booking agent. Couple of elements within property that were not very good were the following... Shower: Poor shower, (more of a drizzle) and was either cold or scalding hot, this was quite dangerous. We could not get any channels on the tv, therefore we could only watch the apps on the tv, this is a basic in a holiday rental and very disappointing. All glasses, plates etc in the dining room and nothing in the kitchen, we found this quite frustrating when preparing dinner etc.

Perfect house. Perfect host

We’ve had the best weeks stay at Little Mullions. From the thoughtful flowers and food left at the beginning, to helping us reconnect with left items at the end, Charlotte was an attentive and thoughtful host through the whole process. A well equipped beautiful Cotswolds cottage, which is well placed for all of the treasures the Cotswolds has to boast. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much
