Loved our weekend at the Tree House. Very convenient location, near lots of activities. Owner was friendly, the house was clean and the patio was so charming. It was a great place to hang out!
This was a great location close to the marina. We pulled our boat and there was plenty of room to park the truck and boat in the front. The house has lots of character! We'd stay there again for sure.
What a great property for relaxing! Check in process was super easy. Dawn was great to work with and very responsive. We truly enjoyed our time at the Treehouse! Can’t wait til we can book the next stay!
This was our second stay at The Treehouse and it was equally as great as the first stay! The house is always in order, the location is absolutely perfect for access to Highport Marina where we keep our boat! Our girls loved the outdoor area and games, plus staying downstairs on and futon was comfortable especially with me cover on! The 2 bedrooms on the first floor are by far the comfiest mattresses we've slept on! Honestly, the best sleep I have had in years! While we brought some of our kids favorite DVD’s, they still found lots of favorites in the DVD collection there at the Treehouse!
Overall, I highly recommend the Treehouse for your next stay at Lake Texoma!
I found the Treehouse through a Vrbo search for one of the busiest weekends at Lake Texoma and was super excited that such a great property was available, especially in a neighborhood that was right up the street from the Marina we keep our boat at!
The bed in the Master was so comfortable, the room was a great size. There's a standup air unit in the room which is a nice bonus when it's extra hot outside! We chose to let our friends use the full bathroom upstairs and we used the full bathroom downstairs! The shower was very nice down there. The futon downstairs is definitely best used for kids, as it's not the most supportive for a back, LOL, But it's a good size! The living room was cozy, with a cute corner with games and the kitchen was a good size, especially when 2 people were prepping food at the same time.
The front porch was super cute with seating, but the best part of the property was the fun outside area by the downstairs. You can reach it from both the downstairs door and outside when you walk down to it. We played Cornhole, grilled out, sat under the stringed lights on the cute chairs and ate at the picnic table. There's also a cute wood high-top table with chairs under the overhang out back, which is nice if you want to chat or eat outside, but prefer shade.
Overall, it was such a great experience, that we've chosen to book again for this coming weekend, only this time, we're bringing our 4 daughters with us! We know they're going to have a blast!
My family and I decided to go to Lake Texoma last minute. Communicating with Dawn was easy and she was very responsive. The property was clean. Our family really enjoyed our stay there. Loved that it was very close to the marina.
Cozy treehouse in the woods, would definitely stay again!
This rental is so lovely. The cabin does have a treehouse feel and is very clean and tidy. The porch is the perfect place to sip coffee in the morning and listen to the birds. The view from the porch is trees and greenery, so it feels like you're not even really in a residential neighborhood. You can also see the lake from the driveway! I was so sad to leave because it was a beautiful time in a cozy place. I would love to stay again in the future. The host was also very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!
The treehouse was the perfect place to hang out, play games, bring fresh fish back for a fish fry, and celebrate a birthday. Everything was clean and we had plenty of room for the six of us. Thank you to the owners for allowing us to stay in such a cool house.
We VRBO always. Been to some cool places. But I have to say this place stands out! The retro style is amazing. I'm a designer and a builder and I was in awe of the uniqueness of this treehouse. The outdoor area with cornhole was a beautiful setting with the hanging lights. Wish we had more than 2 nights for sure. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
A/C was on point, very clean. Great neighborhood.
The property was, most importantly.... very clean! It was immaculate. That’s what matters most to me. It is very tastefully decorated and thoughtfully appointed, well supplied, cozy, comfortable and fun! We enjoyed it.
It could sure use some electrical updating though. We couldn’t get the one, inconveniently placed outlet in the main upstairs bathroom to work at all, and the light switches and outlets in the bedrooms and remainder of the house left much to be desired. Also, couldn’t seem to get hot water in the downstairs shower. It was pretty frustrating to not be able to use the tap water for drinking and cooking. We found that out after we got there, so we had to make a trip into town to get extra water after we got there.
Our family traveled from Dallas to Pottsboro/ Lake Texoma for a quick trip away for a few days. The Tree house was a perfect retreat for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
