Amazing Stay
Beautiful cottage with fantastic views and a fantastic base for visiting the Llyn peninsular.
We had the most relaxing time and were blessed with near perfect blue sky...in March!
Sam had thought of everything even down to the lovely welcome basket of goodies.
Would highly recommend the cottage and would love to return.
Stayed at this great cottage over New Year, very warm and cosy, lots of thoughtful touches by the owner. Setting is fantastic for walks from the door. Loved the games room. Would definitely go back.

Perfect Hideaway
Beautiful location.....warm welcome (with thoughtful surprise too!)...local info in abundance....but most of all a homely feel, relaxing, comfortable and cosy after a day's outing in wind, sun, rain, hail and sun again (yes it does rain sometimes too ;-) ).
I would normally greatly recommend this cottage to anybody but i think this time i'll keep it a secret....

Our favourite holiday cottage!
Having twice had the pleasure of staying at Gors Lwyd, we can't wait for our next visit to 'our favourite holiday cottage', as we call it - a beautiful haven of peace, where it is impossible not to feel relaxed and refreshed within moments of arriving. Sam has fitted and furnished the cottage with everything one could want - a charming home from home - so there's nothing to do except relax and appreciate the views, the walks over hills or along the coast, the beaches, and to enjoy buying the excellent Welsh Lamb or Welsh Black Beef from the Glasfryn Farm shop!

Fantastic Gem
We stayed three nights at the beginning of Christmas week, it was a long journey but once we were there Sam had already made us a fire, there were beers in the fridge, a welcome basket with wine crisps and Bread which was such a lovely welcome. The cottage is in a great location with views of sea and hills. It is on its own with lovely gardens. It is immaculate and Sam has thought of everything to make it a high standard. The photos do not do it justice - we will definately be back for another visit.
Honestly cannot rate this property highly enough! The setting and views were outstanding. The property was fully equipped with every possible whim catered for. The local, village run facilities were fabulous and the games room an absolute bonus! It was peaceful and relaxing, yet a short drive or walk from some great restaurants and beautiful seaside walks. From start to finish Sam was the epitome of an excellent hostess! The welcome pack was well thought out and generous and she ensured that you felt welcome but was not at all intrusive. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing!!!!!!
What an amazing place! Big thanks to Sam and Howard for making such a comfortable and relaxing stay, everything you could need has been thought about, including a treasure hunt for our 6 yr old who loved it, the most comfy bed we have ever stayed in (away from home!), fantastic views from every window. Plenty of games have been provided to have family time inside and out? Set in a beautiful isolated spot on the side of the peninsula but close enough to local amenities :) fabulous beaches nearby and plenty of things to see and do. Lot's of beautiful welsh pubs to dine in with reasonable prices. We will be back as soon as possible! Again, massive thanks to Sam and Howard :)

Home from home
The cottage is in a fantastic location at the foot of a mountain and has everything needed for a perfect holiday. Even the weather was kind to us. Everything we could have wished for was included, it was just like being at home, probably better as we don't have a dishwasher at home! There is a local community pub that is close enough to walk to which I believe serves food but due to good weather we had barbecues and cooked at the cottage because it was such a lovely place to be. The beaches in the surrounding area are fabulous. Sam, the owner, made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We really appreciated the welcome pack and will definitely visit again. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Fantastic cottage with amazing views!
We had a fantastic two week stay at Gors-Lwyd and felt so at home thanks to the little touches and very high standard. The cottage is immaculate and beautiful yet comfortable and cosy. The views are breathtaking and we loved having a mountain literally on the doorstep.
Our 2 year old loved the gardens and the sheep that would often pop down from the mountain to say hello, while my hubby and I loved getting cosy in front of the log burner.
Sam the owner has thought of everything in order to make your visit as enjoyable as possible. We found the information folders really helpful and it meant we visited beaches and places that we otherwise would not have known about.
Overall this is a stunning place to stay in a beautiful rural setting that just oozes luxury! Thank you so much, we'll definitely be back!!

Don't look any further!
We have recently returned from a fabulous 4 day break at Gors-lwyd. We will most certainly return and cannot recommend it enough. Every need was catered for and this includes everything you need for a busy toddler!
Our first impressions on arrival was amazing. The cottage is situated with 360 degrees panoramic views of the surrounding fields and ocean. It is breath-taking. Every evening was spent with a glass of wine watching the sunset.
The owner Sam prepared a lovely welcome basket for us and nothing was too much trouble to ensure our holiday was a memorable one. My parents from South Africa cannot stop talking about this beautiful place and delightful cottage.
We loved the location of this cottage. It has stunning views and great walks from the doorstep, including to the beach.
Sam had thought of everything and the little touches she made for adults + kids were lovely.
The playroom was an added bonus and was great for rainy days, which we had a few.
Would definitely recommend
The perfect place to relax and enjoy the fabulous views. Close enough to all the great beaches this peninsula has to offer but far enough away to leave the crowds behind. The cottage has everything you will need for a great holiday and the welcome pack was amazing,
We had a wonderful holiday here. Sam was there when we arrived and spoilt us with a great welcome pack. She was available locally if needed but never intruded.
As soon as you arrive you feel yourself relaxing, the views are amazing and to hear the sheep around you. The cottage has everything you need and so many little touches make it a special place to stay.
The weather wasn’t always kind , so to have the games room was a real bonus.
The location is excellent- at the foot of the hills, yet within easy reach of main roads to get to local places. We did many walks straight from the cottage . Plenty of stunning beaches near by too.
We loved staying here and I’m sure we’ll be back
Thank you for offering us a perfect place to stay
Fantastic location, wonderful cottage, lovely welcome package from Sam: and a very thoughtful treasure hunt for our kids was a great surprise! Games room is flawless, and a good selection of DVDs and Wi-Fi for evening entertainment. Highly recommended.

Wonderfully quiet location, cosy, very clean and with everything you could wish in a cottage
Sam's cottage has been prepared with great care and attention to detail. It's obvious from the moment you walk in that she has a good understanding of what most people would expect in a holiday rental. The house is traditional and beautifully furnished with good quality white goods and clear and easy to understand instructions on how to use everything. We felt immediately at home. The location is ideal for walking from the house to explore the surrounding area as well as for getting in the car and discovering some of the great places on the Lleyn peninsula. We had a most enjoyable week there.

This was the best holiday cottage we have ever stayed in. As others have stated, the photos don't do it justice. The cottage had everything that we needed and more, and is in a stunning location for fantastic walks. Sam has thought of everything and our children were delighted with the extras just for them. We would highly recommend this property and hope to return ourselves.

Superb holiday cottage
We had very good family stay in Sam's cottage. This charming cottage is fully equipped for a family stay with games, books, Blue-Ray films, large kitchen to cook relax (AGA style cooker) and a big garden/terrace with barbecue. We surely recommend you this lovely situated cottage.

Fantastic location, great quality and a friendly welcome!
We recently stayed at the cottage for a few days and loved every minute. The location of the cottage is amazing, right under a mountain, with sea views and well positioned to explore the Llyn Peninsula.
The photos of the cottage really don't do it justice, it is so much nicer in real life - tastefully furnished with high quality finishes, immaculately clean and equipped with everything a holiday-maker might need, and a few things you didn't know you needed!
Sam was a great host, with good communication in the run up to the stay, a personal welcome on the day, the provision of a lovely welcome hamper of local food and drink, and the offer of being on hand throughout our stay if we needed anything. I prefer not to take hosts up on this type of offer but did need to ask for help, to which she replied quickly and very helpfully.
We are looking forward to returning again soon and can't recommend this cottage highly enough. Thanks Sam xx

Beautiful cottage in idyllic surroundings
The pictures on the website were very accurate and on arrival and seeing in person it looked even better! Absolutely fantastic-meticulously clean, high standard of maintenance and so comfortable. Everything we needed was catered for- even a picnic hamper!
The patio and gardens are fabulous and the views from the cottage wonderful.
Sam the owner was so helpful and thoughtful-meeting us at the property to show us around and letting us know she was available at any time if needed as lived nearby. Also, as we were there celebrating our wedding anniversary we had asked about dining out - Sam offered to pay for taxis to take us to and from a restaurant of our choice so that we could leave our car as there were no restaurants within walking distance. That is customer service above and beyond!
The welcome pack was amazing with little extra touches added making it extra special and we were happily surprised with our anniversary greetings and Prosecco from Sam!
As there was lots of detail on the website for things to see and do, we had already planned our week from that, and the cottage has lots more information and leaftlets too. We enjoyed the local walks from the doorstep of the cottage-stunning area and views, and most helpful information on these was provided at the cottage. We visited castles, travelled on the Welsh Highland Steam railway and went up to the summit of Snowdon on the mountain railway(steam is best). Portmeirion was brilliant and the drive along the llanberis pass was fabulous.
The cottage is well placed for things to see and do and a wonderful place to relax in after a days excursions.
We really enjoyed our week stay and would love to stay again in the future just to spend more time at the cottage relaxing!
Will definately recommend to friends and family.
Thank you Sam.
