This was a great property. Neighborhood was beautiful. A quick walk to Tesco, etc. I needed to extend my stay and they were very helpful.

Charm, location, good amenities

Loved everything about the property. Good location walking distance to grocery, coffee shops, restaurants and only about 15 min walk to train station. Well stocked kitchen, lots of space and charm. The only reason for the 4 stars is the noise. Unfortunately you can hear everything from the street outside even with windows and curtains closed. Friday and Saturday night were the worse with people leaving local bar at closing. Not sure the property owners can do much about the noise but maybe pack some ear plugs for stay.

Nice location, basic apartment

The location of the apartment is nice. A bit of street noise on weekend nights, but otherwise close to the tourist sites and supermarkets. There is an amazing coffee shop around the corner called Kirk Coffee. The apartment has a lot of character with the old coal stoves still present. The apartment, although clean, was very basic. The heat is controlled by the owners, and it got pretty cold in there as soon as the sun went down. The wifi did not work in the living room very well - probably due to the thick walls. One of the couches was very worn out, and the mattress is also worn. There were three or four categories of trash but only one trash can and one trash bag. There was also no dish soap. The pans were very worn and were peeling badly. Nothing major - just little things that could easily be fixed by the company that owns it.

Do not rent this property

This apartment was not as expected Shelf inside front door was broken, curtains were hanging off the rail, blind control was broken Bathtub shower combo was unsafe… there was no rubber mat in the tub so the danger of falling was great… also nothing to hold on to in the shower if you did slip No place to hang towels except a dirty stained window ledge The bed was full size and jammed against a wall totally inappropriate for two people and also sagged in the middle Living room had two old leather sofas and no attention to detail like art on wall cushions on couches decent coffee table The kitchen was OK but we only used it to make coffee which was instant!! Surly a coffee maker is not too much to ask!!!! List is endless I have phots to show most of my complaints and disappointments….we would have left and tried to find another place But since we were there for only 4 nights we did not want to use our time to do that This property is not up to Vrbo standardDteadful
