Our stay was spoilt by discovering dirty toilets and dirty whirlpool bath on arrival. After check-in, no contact with our host, Roberto. I texted within moments of him leaving us at the apartment, he did not answer in the 7 days we stayed.Cleaning charge 210 was excessive for dirty apartment.The apartment could be lovely if the host ensured:1) cleaned properly especially toilets & bathrooms - buy a toilet brush that fits the toilets!!2) communication with guests3) enough glasses, crockery, kitchen equipment4) new towels plus provide a dish-towel5) replace broken lightbulbs6) cushions7) pillows8) add a lamp to living-roomPhotos showed an electric coffee maker which was not there. Cushions in photos, but not there. Cushions would have been useful on the uncomfortable large sofa. In photos, dinner table and kitchen ledges were beautifully set for dinner. In reality, in an apartment that sleeps 5, there was 1 wine glass, a few small glasses plus a small assortment of plates, mugs and 4 cereal bowls. Lots of cutlery but only 2 teaspoons. Very few saucepans. Espresso cups ok. We were unable to cook/serve meals because equipment was missing. Towels clean but very worn with some stains. Spare pillows for one bedroom, but only one pillow per person in other bedroom. Wardrobe rails very high, unusable for a shorter person. Some lightbulbs not working.Stairs to 1st floor then a lift to 2nd floor. Views are to internal courtyards. Heating works. WiFi ok.
