About this property
Bluebell cottage | Branston | Lincoln
Bluebell Cottage is a Grade ll listed 3 bedroom property, located in a conservation area in the desirable village of Branston, Lincolnshire. Our cosy cottage is decorated to a high standard throughout whilst retaining the quirky charm and with the added bonus of an idyllic rear garden.
Internally, the cottage is set over four floors and includes traditional features such as exposed beams, multi-fuel burner and sash windows. On the ground floor the rooms are made up of a basement cellar, lounge diner, and fully equipped with kitchen, including all appliances.
On the first floor, there is a king size bedroom and a single size bedroom. On the second floor, there is another king size bedroom.
In the lounge area, there is an additional sofa bed with a luxury mattress.
The property can sleep 5 guests comfortably and up to 7 should the sofa bed be required.
The family bathroom (with shower over the bath) is located on the first floor.
Branston is approximately 4 miles south east of Lincoln city centre and is easily accessible via the new Eastern bypass.
Our cottage has a fantastic position in Branston having the real village outlook whilst being in close proximity to local amenities and services including supermarket, pubs and cafés for example. Simpsons day spa and Vedanta (formally Branston Hall) are a few minutes away. Also, within the village there are lots of lovely doorstep walks. There are also tennis courts, a children’s play park, a skate park and lawns for bowls are within walking distance.
Being just off the B1188 means that there are excellent transport links both in and out of Lincoln city centre bracket including a regular bus service. Lincoln is bursting with bars, restaurants, shopping, as well as the Bailgate area which has boutiques, traditional tearooms and of course is home to the awe-inspiring cathedral for those who want to soak up the local culture.
Branston is also the perfect location for exploring the countryside including access to the Lincolnshire Wolds which is within 20 miles.
On street free parking is available outside the property.
Please see our guidebook for places to visit and eateries in the surrounding areas including some of our personal favourites .
*Please note - the property can sleep up to 7 guests, however 5 guests is the optimum occupancy recommended for a spacious and comfortable stay. There is a sofa bed in the lounge which can sleep a further 2 guests when required.
