About this property
A small cottage sleeping two guests, two part of the Castle Howard Estate
Dating from the 18th century, Beau Repaire is brimming with character and period furniture taken from Castle Howard itself, blending perfectly with carefully chosen contemporary fixtures and fittings. Every room has been beautifully decorated and furnished, creating elegance and sophistication throughout, along with cosy, indulgent details including a roll-top bath and a wood burning stove. Outside, the pretty garden is laid to lawn and includes garden furniture and a charcoal barbecue to enjoy.
The picturesque village of Coneysthorpe is located within the Howardian Hills, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has easy access to the North York Moors National Park, the Yorkshire coast and the medieval city of York. Built in the 18th century, Castle Howard has been home to the Howard family for over 300 years and is one of Britain's finest stately homes and full of fascinating history.
There are endless footpaths and bridleways throughout the area, popular with cyclists, walkers and nature lovers. The Yorkshire coast boasts several popular seaside towns including Scarborough and Whitby; along with smaller fishing villages including Robin Hood's Bay and Sandsend, all within an hour's drive.
