Amazing!

Our weekend at this beautiful home was perfect. The home was immaculate and the finer touches made this stay extra special. Everybody had their own dressing gown and slippers, all appliances that you could need was there. When I asked the owners Brian and Sara a question, within minutes I had my answer. We had the most fun time and I would recommend this home to families because the children’s activities in the garden was brilliant but even as a group of adults it’s still just as amazing. You won’t be disappointed if you booked this home for a break. Thank you for sharing your home.

Large family get together.

The Coach House is absolutely amazing, so much attention to detail. There was 12 of us in total and everyone of us thought it was fabulous. Brian & Sarah were excellent and we wanted for nothing. We would highly recommend The Coach House. There was so many things to do in the grounds but sadly the weather didn’t let us. We were able to make full use of the hot tub and the sauna. There was more than enough entertainment for us all in the house. A very big thank you to Brian & Sarah.

Celebration Getaway

We stayed at the Coachhouse for a weekend away to celebrate my daughter’s 21st with close friends and family. The house was perfect for what we needed and we all had such a lovely weekend. We would have loved to explore the grounds more but the weather wasn’t great but we loved the garden area with the hot tub! Brian and Sara were great hosts and immediately dealt with a small issue we had when we arrived. Would recommend The Coach House for a lovely break away and we will definitely be coming back.

Weekend family break

Wonderful weekend, lovely house, and a fantastic garden. All the facilities you might need, especially the garden games. Excellent fun for all ages. Lovely walks locally and many food pubs. Would go again in a heartbeat if we could afford it!

Just what we needed

Weekend break to celebrate two big birthdays this year. Group of adults and kids. The Coach House has the 'wow factor' on entering and is totally decadent and whimsical. Everything you could possibly need is provided. Beds are incredibly comfortable, and the bedrooms are spacious and unique. Hot tub sauna, garden dining/, relaxing so peaceful but then progress up the garden to the well equipped games house..that's where the fun begins! We all loved it. Brian and Sarah the on hand hosts ..thank you

Excellent location for a Familly Gathering in a perfectly equipped house full of character

We booked The Coach House for our annual family gathering weekend, and it surpassed our expectations. Out of all the places we've stayed, this one was the best by far. Brian and Sara, our hosts, have made sure everything you need is provided. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essential equoment, and the house itself had a lot of character. The garden was a highlight, with different areas to hang out in like a patio, BBQ spot, firepit, garden games area and even a treehouse. The grandchildren had a blast in the treehouse and the games area, where they beat us at everything! Not to leave the adults out the Hot tub and bubbles completed the picture. The location was perfect too. It felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by countryside, but it was actually really close to the motorway, making it easy to get to. Brian and Sara were great hosts, there to help out if we needed anything and before we arrived provided loads of useful information, where to find the best local pubs, local attractions, amenties, walks and other things to do nearby. We were welcomed with a bottle of cold bubbles to help us settle in which was very thoughtful. Overall, it was an amazing weekend. Loved it! Recommend it! Will be back!

2nd visit

2nd visit, 1st time this time last year. As good as last year, beautiful house with so much on offer. Gorgeous gardens which we unfortunately couldn’t make the most of due to the weather. A few minor niggles which I’ll text vendor with direct. Us 12 ladies loved our stay again, plenty of room in a superb house.

Perfect family weekend retreat

We booked The Coach House for a family weekend. The criteria for the location was to be as central as possible for everyone to travel to and it was perfect. So close to the motorway but at the same time in the middle of the countryside. We were planning to visit other places but the walks without getting in the car were ideal. The house itself has to be the best equipped house I have stayed in, the hosts have literally thought of everything. We made use of some of the games and enjoyed the dressing up box and photo frame! The garden is so good for younger children from the lovely tree house to games of hide and seek, and of course the hot tub was a real hit. The hosts were great, around if you needed anything, quick to respond and help with the car charger! The information we received pre arrival about the house, surrounding area and local pubs etc was very detailed. We literally wanted for nothing and had a fabulous weekend.

Brilliant for family/group gatheringss

Perfect house with everything you need! We were two families of four, plus grandparents and the house offered everything we could have asked for. Kitchen well equipped. Plenty of entertainment for the children (and adults!) and the garden was just fantastic. Comfy beds too. Super speedy communication from the host. Thank you!

Wonderful

We had the most wonderful stay at The Coach House. It is a beautiful property both inside and out with seemingly endless nooks and crannies both in the house itself and in the stunning garden. The property lends itself to large family gatherings with plenty to do for adults and kids alike. Brian and Sara were lovely hosts - great communication both prior to and after our stay. We were welcomed with a bottle of cold bubbles to help us settle in which was very thoughtful. Loved it! Recommend it! Will be back!

A wonderful house - highly recommended!

We stayed at The Coach House over the summer bank holiday weekend for a 70th birthday celebration with extended family. The house was everything we could have wished for and we all had a wonderful time making some lasting memories. The rooms were spacious and clean throughout and every need was catered for. The garden was beautifully kept with lots to do for the children and adults alike. A particular favourite for the children was toasting marshmallows at the fire pit and watching the outdoors lights brighten up the garden late into the evening. The owners have paid a lot of attention to detail to make the experience comfortable and memorable for guests. We really enjoyed taking the dog out on walks around the farm and surrounding area, following one of the many recommended routes. We would love to return one day, perhaps for a big family Christmas which The Coach House would be perfect for. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Highly recommend!

The owners have put a great deal of consideration into making the Coach House a fun and comfortable place for guests of all ages. It is a stunning and quirky property, that is ideal for a family getaway with pets and/or children. We'd definitely stay there again. It had all the mod cons you could want and more. A huge, spacious kitchen with plenty of fridge and freezer space, as well as all the kitchen utensils and tools needed. There were lots of different communal areas indoors and outdoors, so you can choose quiet time or more sociable time, depending on your mood. There were lots of entertainment options in the garden and living rooms. Those who want to be outdoors can enjoy the huge, beautiful, walled-off gardens, which were fantastic for our dog who had never left London, to safely explore nature. There are lots of nooks and crannies to explore. The hot tub was fantastic, and really big. The wind chimes, fountain and flowers all made for a relaxing and peaceful environment to de-stress. The local area is gorgeous - perfect for runners. There were ten of us staying, including three very elderly family members, a hyperactive, big dog, and several exhausted, young(ish) adults who needed a restful break. I am an ambulatory wheelchair user (meaning I only need a wheelchair for distances greater than a few metres or so. but otherwise I use a walking stick). Brian made sure there were suitable ramps in place at the few steps on the ground floor (which was not only helpful for me as a wheelchair user but also for the elderly folk). The property wouldn't be suitable for someone who is a full-time wheelchair user, simply because there is not enough space in the downstairs toilet to fit a wheelchair in, but for someone like myself, it worked well. Brian was keen to ensure he'd done everything possible to make it accessible, which I really appreciate and feel he did as much he possibly could with the limitations of a very old property. I'd highly recommend the Coach House and we hope to visit again someday!

Wonderful stay at the Coach House

We booked a long weekend at the Coach House for my dad’s birthday and had such a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful and well kept. We organised for a private chef to come cook my dad’s birthday dinner. The garden is wonderful, the little ones had a blast the tree house while the adults enjoyed Prosecco in the jacuzzi. We loved it and will definitely book again! Also thanks to Brian for all the great support and recommendations.

We had such a brilliant time at the coach house! Despite the weather being rubbish we still had a perfect time in the house, so cosy with the fire lit and dogs and kids running around. We will be back for sure. Thanks again Brian!

Better than we could have ever imagined!

Every part of the process was well thought out and so much to do on site with multiple games (indoor and outdoor) and a lovely sauna and jacuzzi. The home has so much character and is very warm and welcoming along with the host. We will be back for sure. The best staycation we have all ever been on and great value for money.
