A very welcoming apartment in the heart of the historic center of Florence. The house is located in the lively area of the Central Market, one of the most interesting meeting points in the city which, recently renovated, houses several places where you can taste many local dishes. We are in the Santa Maria Novella district, a stone's throw from the central station and all the most important monuments and museums of Florence: it takes just 5 minutes on foot to reach Piazza del Duomo and the Accademia Gallery. The house consists of a living area with kitchen, two double bedrooms and a complete bathroom with shower. The kitchen is well equipped, ideal for those who want to cook some delicacies with products purchased at the market! The apartment can accommodate up to 4 people and is equipped with air conditioning. From its windows you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Central Market of Florence.

This is a great property if you are wanting to have a fun short trip with friends. It is in a very busy part of town and the walk to get to it is kind of sketchy. But the apartment was clean and gave us everything we need! It’s definitely noisy outside with the market but the surrounding area is so much fun to explore and we loved the location. Would not recommended for a family with small kids but would very much recommend for a group of friends looking for a nice and fun place to stay while in Florence!

Excited then disappointed
Great location right across from the Grand Market, if you don’t mind the early morning hustle and bustle of the market vendors down below. Location is literally a 10 min walk from the Train station and centrally located. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was small but nice, kitchen was not well appointed, no paper towels or kitchen towel. Limited glasses and cups, no coffee or tea. The air conditioning unit in the living room leaks and we woke up to a massive puddle of water on the floor that we had to mop up the next morning. Needed to book an extra night from our original booking as we miscalculated or dates. We were instructed that we had to cancel and rebook and the rate was raised by an extra $20 euro. Eduardo did not honor our original rate that we booked prior. We communicated that we were on our way from Rome and gave Eduardo our arrival time, which was the check in time we were given. We had to wait an hour and a half for “Milo” to come and let us in. We were three girls standing alone on the street waiting to enter our rental. When he finally arrived he charged us an extra $5.50 euro per night per person. We asked Eduardo to waive half that “fee” because we had to wait and he refused. The place is just ok and the management was terrible. Late to respond and we did not feel taken care of. Also, our check out time was 10am and the cleaning crew entered the place at 9:50am. Book at your own risk. Totally disappointed…

Interesting Stay
The apartment is cute and there was enough room for the three of us. But we had a hard time opening the doors, specially the one to the unit. One improvement they could do to the unit is put screens on the windows so the mosquitoes to eat you up at night. One word of caution about the area: There is hardly any parking in the area and the unit is on a street where vendors set up shop every day from 9am-7pm so cars can not go through. You need to drag your suitcases for a few blocks to get there. The whole surrounding area is very crowded and touristy. Nights are also very noisy since young people walk around until 3-4am laughing and talking loudly. There's a big market across the streets where they sell food items & other things. And upstairs are restaurants. It's a good place if you're young and want to have fun. It's not a great place for people with young kids. Also watch your stuff carefully, specially your cell phones. While eating at a restaurant someone grabbed my phone from the table and took off!
