Lovely unusual property in historic pedestrian area

The property has been beautifully furnished and is very charming. It’s handy for the town centre and the Brewery Arts Centre. We’d recommend the Moon restaurant and The Fell bar on Lowther Street. Parking is not convenient or available and we were disappointed that the parking permit we were promised was not available when we arrived. We had to park in a town centre car park and buy a 3 day ticket. Although the property was well equipped especially with books! (The reading corner is amazing), we could have done with a teapot and cafetière. The bedrooms were comfortable and one has an en suite. The twin bedroom is not big enough for two mattresses so it was just as well the 6th member of our party couldn’t come!
