This lovely, sociable cottage has been comfortably furnished throughout and well equipped making it an ideal choice for groups of family or friends wanting to holiday together in style. Having four wonderful bedrooms, three doubles, a king size bedroom, plus an extra child’s fold out bed, the accommodation really does have everything you need for an all year-round holiday retreat.
The village of Bacton offers lovely walks, pub with restaurant, village shop, excellent fish and chip shop, Chinese takeaway restaurant, pizza and kebab shop, gift shop and 2 cafés. Bacton Woods is the perfect place to enjoy a picnic and it has great walking trails. There is a good children’s playground within 5 minutes walking distance, also offering additional free parking for the property. The traditional seaside resorts of Cromer, 11 miles, and Sheringham, 15 miles, for fun at the seaside, or Wroxham, 13 miles, known as the capital of the Norfolk Broads National Park, where you can hire a day launch or join a cruise and watch the world drift by.
Perfect for families is BeWILDerwood at Horning, an outdoor adventure park. Another firm favourite is the Dinosaur Park at Lenwade, offering both outside and inside fun, including a splash park for warmer days. Avid gardeners can make a visit to The Old Vicarage Gardens at East Runton to enjoy the extensive gardens, its tearoom with tasty cakes, and the Sheringham National Trust Park. Other National Trust properties including Felbrigg and Blickling Halls, ideal for lovers of history. The Royal Cromer and Mundesley golf courses will not disappoint golfing enthusiasts.
Why not enjoy the chance to spot hundreds of grey seals and pups along the shore at Horsey beach, between December and February.
