An ideal holiday for up to four guests in the heart of Aberdeen, Scotland's financial capital. The Silver Stone Suite is a beautifully appointed 3rd floor condo designed to indulge guests in a 5 star Scottish experience. The house has been renovated with communal facilities and a Scandinavian-style interior offering the comforts of home as a base for outdoor activities all year round.
The house reveals a modern scandi interior with inviting wooden walls and furniture, bright white and natural ecological materials such as jute, seagrass and sisal. Various things have been carefully thought about for the comfort of our guests.
Parking is recommended and more reasonably priced in the College Road car park (access via Union Square) which can be pre-paid for 3 to 10 days. Shiprow NCP car park is also an alternative. All are within 7 minutes walking distance. Street parking is limited to 2 hours. Access to the building via a security key lock. Access the room via the smart lock pin code.
We would strongly advise all visitors to read our guidebook which will be sent by the host after booking

Worst accommodation ive ever stayed in

Drunk people yelling, they were sitting in a doorway downstairs outside our bedroom window until 1 or 2am. I messaged host about there only being 2 towels when we had booked for 3 & no reply people

This property was special. You felt right at home and all the little amenities that the owners have incorporated are wonderful. Great location a little loud outside until the bars closed but after that is was fine. Enjoyed our time there and no would stay again

Central Location

A very clean and thoughtfully decorated apartment in the heart of Aberdeen. Good shower, nice bedding, and a full kitchen. We managed these fine, but some may find the walk to parking and the 3 flights of stairs difficult to manage. There was a fair amount of noise from the pub almost directly below the bedroom. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Silver Stone Suite.

Brillliant location!

The flat was well appointed with everything we needed. Nice to be able to do laundry during a long trip. The nearby pubs were active at night but a simple pair of ear plugs worked like a charm. As described in the listing, there are three flight of stairs with no acceess to a lift. The shower was lovely. So convenient to sights, beach and bus/train stations. Easy to visit Stonehaven and Dunnottaur Castle. Walked many of the trails- History of Aberdeen, Seaton Park, Old Aberdeen, Union Terrace, and Jacobite Trails. Provost Skene Museum was an unexpected treat. Aberdeen Maritime Museum and the Aberdeen Art Gallery are very close. Plenty of shopping malls, great pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Spent five full days here and did not do/see everything you can do/see.

Nice apartment, good location, terrible property manager

The apartment itself is spacious & lovely, in a great location close to everything you'll need for your stay in Aberdeen. We had trouble obtaining the building entry info (lockbox code) as the Property Manager (PM) failed to note to look in the 'arrival info' section of the GUIDEBOOK not the 'arrival info' section of the VRBO reservation page. The PM was not very helpful - but instead chastised us for not being able to locate the info. We stayed 4 nights. The first night, we turned on the shower & discovered the shower head had a leak. Inconvenient? Yes, but I was able to shower, so we made a note to mention it to the PM. Morning of day two, the hot water/shower unit stopped working completely. We contacted the PM to let him know what was going on & he insinuated we must have broke the shower head because, "The cleaner said there was nothing wrong with the shower or shower head before you arrived." Eventually the PM called a plumber who determined it was an electrical not plumbing issue & that the unit would most likely need to be replaced. We spent 3.5 of our 4 day stay without access to a shower/hot water. The PM then accused us of breaking the coffee machine we never used! Between the water/shower issues, terrible treatment by the PM & dirty baby bottle left in the microwave (which made us wonder about overall cleanliness) it was our 1st & last time using VRBO. Absolutely terrible experience. Also, building elevator doesn't work & it's 60 steps to the unit.

The property has been renovated with oak joinery and a stylish Scandinavian interior providing home comforts whilst serving as a base for outdoor pursuits all year round.

What makes this property unique

Within a minutes walk, you can get to Union street, the mile long major shopping through-fare of North East Scotland. Also within a minutes walk, arrive at Union square, a mall that houses more than 60 shops, over fifteen restaurants, and a ten screen 2,300 seat cinema.
The Aberdeen bus and train station are at your doorstep providing excellent transport links. Aberdeen harbour will connect you to the Orkney and Shetland islands and to dolphin watching excursions. Scottish beach experiences such as Balmedie’s golden sands, Newburgh beach seal colony, Dunnottar castle on the beach and Aberdeen’s own beach esplanade are all within easy reach. Within two hours, you can arrive at the Scottish highlands Cairngorms national park featuring unique natural beauty of distinctive mountains, rivers and lochs (lakes) as well as highland cities such as Inverness.

Taxi rank located immediately outside the building. Bus train and coach stations all within 2 min walking distance. Parking is recommended at College street car park
