I absolutely loved the location of the cabin. The view from the terrace was mesmerizing, a very quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The lake was just a few steps away from our rooms. The rooms were equipped with AC's but one of the ACs wasn’t working, the kitchen was fully equipped, two full bathrooms but no towels, no wifi, no warm water. Communication with host could've been better as he sent instructions on how to access the property until the "day of" as I was on the phone with customer service. There was no cell phone reception there so it was very inconvenient having to call customer service for help to access the property. We had to borrow a phone from a local.
We were forced to leave our last night as we were left without power and water. I understand this issue arose unexpectedly and the hosts went above and beyond to accommodate us at different hotel. However, a partial refund would be fair as the hotel where we were relocated to did not have the same amenities the cabin had. The cabin had 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms. We did not get the same at the hotel. Instead 4 of us shared a room with 4 beds and one bathroom.
The owner has refused to partially refund us for the night we paid to stay at the cabin but couldn't due to no power or water.
