Dear guests,

Feel at home in our holiday apartments with a unique, historical ambience. Irmelshausen Castle is a Renaissance castle with "Sleeping Beauty character" in the heart of Germany.

Our forester apartment, located on the ground floor of the historic defense tower, has a size of approx. 90 square meters with a kitchen, shower room, living and dining room and can be reached with 4 steps.
The Yellow Room and the Forester Room are equipped with 160x210cm and 140x180cm wide double beds.

Our Bel Étage, approx. 200 sqm in size, is located on the 2nd floor of the defense tower.
It has two large master bedrooms (180x200 & 200x200) in suite style, where cots can be added and two 24 sqm bedrooms with a king size bed (180x200) and a large single bed (120x200). Up to seven adults or families of up to eight can feel comfortable here. A kitchen, a very spacious living-dining room, a very large bathroom with shower, bath and toilet offer plenty of space. There is also a second toilet.

It was a wonderful stay in an amazing and charming historic building

The castle is situated on the edge of the village but the silence and the surrounding nature is absolutely relaxing. We enjoyed every moment there. Being able to use not only the (full floor!) apartment but also the courtyard really makes you feel like home.

Wer marodes italienisches Flair in historischer Umgebung mag, ist hier bestens aufgehoben, und zwar in bestem Sinne! Nicht nur außen, sondern auch die innere Ausstattung hat uns sehr gefallen: Moderne Küche und Bad und gut ans Interieur angepasste Schlafräume. Die Gastgeber sind für sich schon ein Highlight: Äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit, mit vielen Tipps für die Umgebung inkl. einer sehr interessanten Burgführung. Die Gegend ist schön zum wandern, besser aber noch zum Radfahren.

Die Ferienwohnung im Wasserschloss in Irmelshausen ist unglaublich! Ich habe mich mit Freunden für ein Wochenende dort getroffen und wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet, das Wohnzimmer lädt zum Verweilen ein, die Küche ist top ausgestattet. Es war eine großartige Erfahrung ein Wochenende in einem echten Schloss zu verbringen.

Ein einzigartig, romantischer Kurzurlaub; einfach außergewöhnlich.

Charmante Gastgeber, ( hervorzuheben insbesondere eine immer strahlende Gräfin ), fürstliches Dinner, romantische Stunden am Kamin, Erzählungen zum Schloss durch die Gräfin Stauffenberg (absolutes Muss!), gut gelungener Mix in der Einrichtung (alt mit modern) Zusammensein mit der Familie (8 erwachsene Personen) , wieder einmal alle an einem Frühstückstisch zusammen zu sitzen, sich das sehr große und moderne Badezimmer zu teilen - ging ohne Probleme -. Alles in allem hat es uns gut gefallen;

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit dem gewissen etwas und super nette Gastgeber! Sehr gut geeignet zum entspannen, Unternehmungen in der Natur oder Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Wir kommen wieder :-) Empfehlenswert!
