Front garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Daffodils is a delightful end of terrace cottage which has been lovingly refurbished to a high standard in 2022. The care and attention to detail is evident as soon as you step inside Daffodils. The bespoke handmade kitchen is beautiful and is a real cosy place to sit and enjoy a meal with family and friends. Of course, relaxing is just the ticket at Daffodils where you can cosy up in front of the wood burner in the living room. Also on the ground floor is the large conservatory where you can enjoy views of the garden. The charm and character continues upstairs with three bedrooms and the wonderful modern bathroom. Daffodils is situated in the pleasant and peaceful rural village of Halton Lea Gate, nestled under the Cold Fell range with simply stunning views.
Officially designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the village sits on the Cumbria/Northumberland border, and you will find footpaths from your doorstep to Hadrian’s Wall Path and the Pennine Way, as well as cycle paths along quiet country lanes. This really is the perfect location for enjoying the glorious countryside and is perfect for exploring the wider area too. The lovely little market town of Brampton is only 9 miles away and is lovely, with a variety of independent shops and some excellent restaurants and cafés. As well as all the historical sites and areas of outstanding natural beauty to discover close by, a day trip to the Lake District National Park with its majestic mountains and wonderful lakes is a must, or even take a scenic drive across the border to Scotland.
