About the host
Your host

Coming back to live in Africa after 40 years in Europe is a dream come true. Living in nature in the peace and tranquility of star studded nights amongst the magical gentle creatures of the bush in this wild part of Africa and occasionally travelling back to visit family and friends elsewhere is the perfect balance for me.
Why they chose this property
This home has been created by myself (an Interior Architect) with the passion of designing the perfect bush experience in this idyllic wild paradise. A true garden of Eden with giraffe, zebra, kudu, nyala, sable antelope and warthogs, etc. on the lawn in front the house with the dramatic backdrop of the Drakensberg mountain range. No dangerous animals make this the perfect environment for walking, hiking and cycling all around the picturesque Blyde Wildlife Estate. Within easy reach of the Kruger National Park and The Panoramic route.
What makes this property unique
One of the best restaurants in the province ‘The Blue Mountain’ is right on the Estate and only 5 minutes from the house for dine in or take away. Secure estate with safe hiking, walking, running, cycling and even fishing.
