Pump Cottage in Borth-y-Gest near Porthmadog, Gwynedd sleeps four in two rooms. If booking between June and August, this property can only accept 7-night bookings between Saturday - Saturday
The living areas in this cottage consist of a kitchen with electric double oven and hob, microwave and a fridge/freezer, a utility, and a living/dining room with dining seating for four guests, an open fire and TV. The bedrooms consist of two singles, along with a bathroom. Outside there is an enclosed rear courtyard and raised level terrace with patio, furniture and a barbecue, and roadside parking is available. Within 0.5 mile you will find both a shop and two cafes and a pub, and within 0.1 miles, a beach, and please note that one small, well-behaved dog is allowed but sorry, no smoking. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Pump Cottage is a traditional base, ideal for a family or group of friends wishing to explore the surroundings of North Wales. Note: There are 5 open-tread steps up to the terrace, please take care and ensure children are supervised.

The Ffestiniog Railway and the Welsh Highland Railway are located in Porthmadog, the entrance to the Snowdonia National Park, from which you can take a steam train through the breathtaking scenery of the park to Blaenau Ffestiniog or Caerforn. Porthmadog is also home to many unique shops and eateries. A short drive or walk will take you to the charming village of Borth Y Gest, which is known for its cliffs and coves. Just along the coast is the renowned and distinctive Italianate village of Portmeirion. There are activities for the whole family at the well-known Zip World Slate Caves and Bounce Below, which is also close by. These activities include the exhilarating zip wires and subterranean caverns to explore. a prime position for Snowdonia and The Lleyn Peninsula attractions.
