The Little Farmhouse is the home my husband grew up in. It had been abandoned for many years when we purchased the property from the other heirs and made the decision to bring it back to life. It was a long and tedious process but the end result was a delight. We kept the original paint colors and added other decor in keeping with the era of time. The flu was in the center of the home so that each room could have a flu eye for a wood stove pipe . We removed the flu and there was just the right amount of space under the stairway for the central heat and air unit. We added bathrooms, one downstairs and one upstairs. The kitchen now has all the modern conveniences we've come to expect such as a dishwasher, microwave oven and a full size cook stove. One of the nicest features of the little farmhouse is the screened in porch along the south side of the house. Sitting there with a cup of coffee watching the morning light appear makes it easy to have a conversation with the creator of it all. If you enjoy nature,at its best, come see us.
