In the cold, winter months you can enjoy underfloor heating and a wood burner in the sociable open plan kitchen and living space, and in the warm summer months the patio area is a perfect place to simply relax and unwind. There’s ample off-road parking and secure storage for bikes.
The Midshires Way, Middlewood Way and Sett Valley Trail are all available locally. There are ample options for walking and cycling. Marple Bridge itself is around a 5-minute drive and where you’ll find a selection of good pubs. Further amenities are available in neighbouring Marple, including a train station providing direct access to the bright lights of Manchester in under 30 mins. There are the vast green spaces of Etherow Country Park and Brabyns Park, the fabulous Torrs Riverside Park within a 15-minute drive and being on the edge of the Peak District National Park means that popular tourist attractions such as Buxton, Edale, Bakewell Chatsworth House and Castleton are accessible within an hour.
