This apartment has a great location. But it has no air conditioning, which makes for a brutal summer stay. The apartment needs to be updated. Shower curtain needs to be replace--unacceptable. The furniture, especially the futon needs to be replaced. We left disappointed.

Amazing Location
First of all, we had a fantastic time. The location and the neighborhood are amazing. The property manager helped arrange for a pick-up from the airport, which was also very helpful. I would say that this place is not ideal for a family of 4 if your children are teenagers. The other twin bed is a trundle and there is not space in the room for both beds. We moved the trundle into the front living room and made it work (which was ok since one of the couches in the living room was broken and not usable anyway). The other issue is that there is no real shower. The handheld spray nozzle sprays water all over the bathroom (not a good "shower curtain" either). Always a little tricky getting out of the tub and stepping on the water-covered floor. All that being said, the shower situation could be fixed and if you are ok with the sleeping arrangements, you really can't beat the neighborhood and location. We found a couple of really good restaurants and gellaterias either on our street or just off of it. You can practically see the Colluseum from the street (about a half block walk until you get a clear view). Easy walking to most of the sites you want to see.
