Hi - we are Jonathan and Clare Fagan, directors of the company who own St Milburga Chapel. We live in North Wales and we bought the chapel in 2022. The chapel has been a holiday home since 2004 and is rated 4 star Self-Catering Accommodation by Visit England (assessed annually).
Why they chose this property
St Milburga Chapel is ideally situated for a holiday because it is in easy reach of so many different locations and attractions. It is a restored chapel (the original owner lives next door and is always happy to have a chat about the work - included a visit from Sarah Beeny!). We have tried to keep the original character of the chapel, but we installed a brand new bathroom in 2022 and a new kitchen is being added in 2025. The chapel is a fantastic place for a rural holiday - it is situated on a quiet lane close to the Shropshire Way and at the foot of the Clee Hills.
What makes this property unique
Detached cottage with an electric car charger, parking for 2 cars, family friendly (we have put a high chair and travel cot in the property), a gas-fired BBQ, very cosy and private. The outlook from the chapel is open countryside. You can walk out of the front door and 5 minutes up the lane is Clee Liberty Common, Nordy Bank Iron Age Fort and Brown Clee Hill. 4 star accommodation rated by Visit England.
