In addition to a Civic Centre and the Pocklington Arts Centre, which host film screenings and live performances throughout the year, Pocklington is home to a leisure centre where residents can participate in a variety of sports, including swimming. Not far from Pocklington is the KP Golf Club, which features a stylish bar and restaurant, a wedding and other event venue, and an 18-hole championship golf course.
