A beautiful award winning upside down house with fabulous sea views

The Lookout is a gorgeous property with a large balcony and wonderful sea views. It really gives all our guests a sense of calm and relaxation, and we have great reviews from everyone non who stays here.
The property was refurbished in January 2022 and offers our guests a quiet away from it all holiday, There is an open plan lounge diner with doors opening up to the well fitted kitchen, and upstairs cloakroom, and the lounge opens up from wall to ceiling glass doors to the large balcony.
The balcony offers seating for four and is perfect for an evening glass of wine watching the sunset or simply watching the ships sail by.
The beach is a stones throw away with access from the rear garden to the coastal path which leads to a slope and steps to the dog friendly beach.Mundesley beach was voted the best beach in North Norfolk in 2022!
The Beach shed in the garden has all the beach paraphernalia you could wish for, with beach toys for the children, beach chairs, wind break, and other beach items.
There is a dining table for four on the patio.
Mundesley has a Blue Flag beach for 2022, and boasts several hostelries and coffee shops for refreshment pit stops.
There is bicycle hire in the village and we have a butchers, greengrocers, chemist, post office, a Lifeboat charity shop, lovely ladies clothes shop, and a Tesco Express only 5 minutes walk away.
A holiday at The Lookout is not only peaceful and relaxing but is an excellent base for exploring the rest of North Norfolk, with its wonderful beaches, stately homes, seal watching and much more.

Amazing place to stay

The property was exceedingly clean, had everything you could need for a holiday let, beautiful location and amazing views. surrounding area is so very beautiful. The area is peaceful and friendly… The host, Bev, is lovely, she will help in anyway she can, she is a stonesthrow away, in case you need her, but also leaves you to enjoy your stay. We took our two small dogs, and they were welcomed with treats and anything else they might need to keep them happy. The outside was very dog friendly and clean. The outside shed had a host of different things for the beach, dog toys, decl chairs, etc. We loved our stay here and we are planning our next visit, one of the best holiday lets we have ever stayed in.. The view from the upstairs is breathtaking. Thank you Bev. xxx

Had a wonderful 3 night break staying at The Lookout and wish we’d booked for longer! A homely, spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable house in a perfect location with amazing views. We had a lovely holiday in Mundesley. The Lookout is very well situated for exploring the Norfolk coast and the view from the upstairs living area is lovely. The house was spotlessly clean and comfortable.

Great location, Great hospitality !

From the moment we got to the house we knew we would have a good break. The location was perfect with great views and a short walk to the beach. The house was clean and tastefully decorated. We got there earlier than expected and Bev was more than accommodating. She had left out some treats for us which was greatly appreciated. The kids loved all the games in the house and had great fun. I would highly recommend this place for trips with young families, there is so much to do within the area.

Amazing place!

The Lookout exceeded our expectations. The photos are amazing but actually sitting on the balcony looking out to the sea was fantastic. We loved it, the place was very clean and comfortable and had everything that you could need. Bev was a very friendly and welcoming host, leaving flowers, wine and some dog treats which Maisie very much appreciated! Would loved to have been there longer, but we had a very enjoyable weekend and would recommend it to anyone.

First Class Accommodation

My wife and I had 5 nights at The Lookout tail end of September, the real life experience is even better than the pictures and was a wonderful home from home for the week. From a chill out point of view, this is our best ever trip. Anything you want and need is already there, a lot of time and care is put into the place and is a credit to Bev and her partner. The location is excellent and within walking distance of some nice local amenities including a very reasonably priced cafe, and a pub which has its own chippy attached. Can’t wait to come back in the future :-)

Gorgeous house in a brilliant location

We have just returned from a week at the Lookout and feel like we've been away for ages - we feel so relaxed! The house is lovely - so well equipped, cleaned and decorated - a genuine home from home. The location is amazing - incredible views and an easy walk to the beach and village. The weather was a bit ropey when we were there, but this just makes you appreciate the house even more - it was lovely sitting in the living room with a glass of wine or cup of coffee watching and listening to the sea. Bev (the owner) was very helpful prior to check in and on hand if needed. We absolutely loved it here and feel very fortunate to have been able to stay. We were a party of 4 plus 1 dog

Fantastic holiday home

Very impressed with our holiday home for a week in Mundesley. The house is immaculate with everything that we needed for our stay including a few nice personal touches. The views from the balcony were beautiful. Just a short walk away we had access to the beach and the village centre. Bev the owner gave us great advice on things to do, places to visit and where to eat. This property ticked all the boxes making it a brilliant base for our family stay in Norfolk. Highly recommend!

Rejuvenation !

We have just returned from one of the most relaxing and rejuvenating breaks ever . The Lookout is an immaculate treasure - calm and invigorating at the same time ! The attention to detail and the ambiance of the decor is second to non and the wonderful sea views and sound of the sea waves crashing gently or actually not so gently towards the end of the week provided us with our own version of relaxing therapy .The weather actually was good first part of week - but rainy and thundery the latter part . It did not bother us as our views and surroundings were so perfect ! We were so impressed with this location and its relaxing properties we have already re booked ! Bev our host was so helpful and accommodating - even brought ice to us - when the local shop had run out ! Certainly above and beyond ! We are already looking forward to returning next year - the beauty of it being we know we do not need to worry about the weather - sunny ,windy ,cold ,rain it is still wonderful - the elements and sea and comfortable surroundings providing an ever changing picture !

Just Perfect

The Lookout is the most perfect setting to escape the busy hussle and bussle of life. Located with beautiful scenery, we had the most perfect few days with our little dogs. The place is absolutely spotless, fully equipped and still manages to feel like home. Bev made the stay absolutely effortless and comfortable, with recommendations of places to eat and visit. Lovely stay in an immaculate and welcoming property

This property really is faultless. It is exceptionally clean and so well equipped - everything that you might need - even if you didn’t realise you did - is there. Lots of spare storage available too in both of the bedrooms and the kitchen. Great that a dog water bowl was provided together with treats for them as well as us humans - wine and biscuits. Even unpacking and packing the car was easy as we could literally pull up and park outside the front door. The location is stunning with fabulous and far reaching views over the sea. Close to many of the facilities of the village so easy to nip out for a take away or an early morning paper from the local newsagent. The beach is clean and dog friendly so our dogs enjoyed running along the sand. Bev was friendly and welcoming with lots of local knowledge to help us find our way about when we got there. Mundesley is a lovely village and everyone was very friendly. We loved sitting in the beer garden at The Ship Inn which overlooks the sea enjoying our first post lockdown drink and meal out. Thoroughly recommended.

Super sea view holiday home!

Spotlessly clean, very well appointed holiday home with a fabulous sea view from the balcony and living area. On arrival great to have milk, biscuits and wine awaiting us.
