Superb accommodation in Tuscany
What a superb holiday apartment, pictures don’t do this place justice. We stayed for almost 2 weeks, apartment is as described but doesn’t show the lovely gardens full of fruit trees and the impeccable condition of the pool, ideal for hot summer days to cool off. Gallicano is well placed for exploring or completely relaxing, walking distance to local cafe, bakery and town is just a short 10 min walk, well equipped supermarket is a km away - can’t rate location to amenities highly enough. Paolo and her wonderful dad Carlo were in hand before, during and after our stay with helpful information, couldn’t ask for nicer hosts! Would definitely stay again when visiting Tuscany!

Gewelig gastvrij huis
Wij hebben een geweldige week beleefd. De ontvangst, de netheid/hezelligheid van het huis, het zwembad, de omgeving, hebben ons verblijf bijna perfect gemaakt. Locatie ligt dichtbij Lucca en mooie plek als de Apenijnen en prachtige plekjes. Enig nadeel was dat je altijd je wel de auto nodig hebt, ook voor eten etc.

Just perfect :-)
We had a wonderful vacation! The place was just perfect to relax (especially the pool was fantastic), but also to start ,trips to the surrounding cities and mountains. Trips to Pisa, the beach, to Florence are doable in a very convenient way. My personal recommendation: Lucca. Paola and her father have done a great job, being friendly, helpful hosts, just professional. 100% recommendation.

Het was een fantastische vakantie op dit heerlijke adres. Het huisje is super alles is even schoon, netjes en smaakvol ingericht. De eigenaars zijn bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Als je vragen hebt over de omgeving krijg je de mooiste tips. Voor ons hadden ze 2 hele mooie roadtrips bedacht met de mooiste bergdorpjes in de regio. Na terugkomst van een mooie route wacht een heerlijk zwembad waar je in alle rust op adem kunt komen. Dit adres houd ik zeker in mijn hoofd voor een volgende vakantie in Toscane.

Es war ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus in einem äußerst gepflegten Anwesen mit einem herrlichen Pool. Es blieben keine Wünsche offen, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Superbe séjour.
Magnifique petite maisonnette dans un jardin bien arboré avec vue sur les montagnes environnantes. La piscine est superbe . Paola et son papa très gentils et très discrets, merci à eux. La route nationale est juste à côté ce qui permet de pouvoir visiter la région. Nous avons passé un superbe séjour.

Tolle Unterkunft!
Es war sehr erholsam und vor allem ist es eine sehr schöne Anlage. Toll war auch die Unterstützung von Paola und ihren Eltern, welche sehr hilfsbereit waren und immer wieder tolle Tipps bezüglich der Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung geben konnten (z. B. auch über Pisa :-) ). Unterhaltsam waren auch die Gespräche mit Paolas Vater, der sich sogar in unserer Heimatstadt auskannte! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

The place is very good for people who want to relax. Garden is beautiful and pool also. Paola (menager) and her father are helpful and very nice. There are many restaurant (in Gallicano and Barga). Good point to visit other towns in Tuscany.

Eine sehr schöne Ferienvilla
Wir waren in der Villa Mandolata und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Objekt liegt inmitten eines Obstgartens. Ein Parkplatz steht vor dem Haus zur Verfügung. Der Pool war sehr schön und sauber. Die überdachte Terrasse vor dem Haus wurde von uns für unsere Mahlzeiten, wie Frühstück uns manchmal auch Abendessen genutzt. Insgesamt ein sehr schönes Objekt. Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Perfekt!
Wir waren/sind begeistert! Ein herzlicher Empfang, tolle Betreuung vor Ort durch Paola und ihren Vater. Das Häuschen war ansprechend eingerichtet, es waren Kaffee und Kekse zum Empfang vorbereitet, die gesamte Anlage ist inkl Pool top gepflegt. Wir hatten das einzel stehende Häuschen mit eigenem Zugang. Auch Parkplätze stehen zur Verfügung. Nein, da gibt es nichts auszusetzen! Das ist nicht zu toppen. Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Top Unterkunft in einer wunderschönen bergigen Landschaft
Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und entspricht absolut den Bildern im Internet. Die Gastfamilie ist sehr sehr nett und erfüllt jede offenen Wünsche. Paola hat tolle Tipps die Gegend zu erkunden und fragt bei jeder Gelegenheit nach ob alles passt. Wer es etwas sportlicher mag mit tollen Wanderungen im Bergland ist hier genau richtig.

Wonderful holidays in Tuscany!
We had a really wonderful break at Il Melograno! A really nice place to take a break from everyday life. Fully equipped house, very clean, a really nice pool and perfectly situated to discover Tuscany. Pisa, Firenze and Lucca are only a short drive away (1h30 max), but also some really nice small villages to discover in the green mountains of Gafargnana like Burga. To top it all, Paola and her family are incredibly helpful hosts! We hope to come back soon!

Traumhafte Ferienanlage in wunderschöner Gegend und mit sehr herzlichen Gastgebern
Wir haben zwei Wochen in "Il Melograno" im Haus Mandolata gewohnt. Wir hatten eine fabelhafte Zeit, haben uns von Anfang bis Ende willkommen und wohl gefühlt und wären gerne noch länger geblieben. Das Grundstück ist eine grüne Oase, wunderschön, und sehr gepflegt. Der Pool und der Liegebereich sind ein Traum. Bei der Ausstattung in unserem Haus hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Jedes Haus hat eine eigene privaten Terrasse. Für unseren einjährigen Sohn haben wir ein Babybett und einen Hochstuhl bekommen. Paola und ihre Familie sind unglaublich liebe, offene, herzliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Wir haben uns immer gefreut sie zu sehen und uns mit ihnen zu unterhalten. Bei all unseren Fragen und Anliegen wurde uns stets geholfen. Ein besonderes Dankeschön an Paola und ihre Eltern für den liebevollen Umgang mit unserem Sohn. Wir würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen und können die Unterkunft von Herzen empfehlen.

Perfect accommodation, clean, beautiful and very nice pool!
We loved our stay at B&B Il Melograno. The appartement was well equipped, super clean en nicely decorated. The garden was lovely and a nice place to chill and we loved the pool which was really clean aswel. Paola had good recommendations for restaurants nearby, which made our stay even better! We would defintely recommend this place to family and friends and we would love to come back someday! Thanks Paola and parents for having us and making our stay so lovely!

Nice apartment with very nice pool and garden to relax and enjoy, great and friendly hosts. Good starting point to Visite towns and to start hiking tours, Great restaurants around upside from too much Tourismus. We will come again for sure.

Tolle Anlage mit tollen Gastgebern
Eine wirklich außergewöhnlich schöne Unterkunft. Die Anlage ist gepflegt und klug aufgebaut: Man ist für sich und trotzdem sind die trotzdem Gastgeber erreichbar. Der Pool lädt zum Sonnenbaden und Verweilen ein. Wir waren im Mandolata-Haus. Wunderschön! Und so geräumig. Alles sauber und mit dem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Auch die Lage ist hervorragend - ein Supermarkt ist sechs Minuten (mit dem Auto) entfernt, um die Ecke ist sogar ein Fitness-Studio und ein Café, zu dem man laufen kann. Aber das Beste war Paola: Unsere freundliche Gastgeberin, die auf jede unserer Wünsche und Fragen herzlich und zuvorkommend eingegangen ist. Danke für fünf wundervolle Tage.
