It is 1 mile from Schlitterbahn and 2 miles to Landa Park (golf course). Located less than a mile from I-35 you have easy access to San Antonio and the San Marcos/Austin area. This home would be great for couples or individuals. Built in 1869 and renovated to include modern amenities, this house combines historic charm and comfortable living. The Boenig/Maurer house was once an old dairy farm. It has 800 sq. Ft with 10 ft ceilings in 2 of the rooms. Come relax and enjoy the city of New Braunfels. A 30-night minimum is required.

We have enjoyed living in New Braunfels for nearly 30 years. Mark is a retired teacher/coach. Lynda is a retired teacher and is the Marketing Manager for the Brauntex Theatre.
Why they chose this property
We have loved this house for many years and were so happy to purchase it in 2016. After a complete renovation, we opened it to guests in 2017. The house has a secluded yard with a private driveway. Built in 1869, this house has unique charm and comfortable living.

Location, location, location! This Old House is within walking distance to downtown New Braunfels and less than a mile from I-35. It is located in the heart of the Sophienberg Historic District, which is a fantastic neighborhood for walking and biking.
