Just 10 km West of Cherbourg, your gate to la Hague and Val de Saire, to rugged coasts and to good food. Holiday cottage for weekly rental in the park of the listed castle of Dur-Ecu (16th c.). 300 m from the beach and with full view of the coast.
These watermills were built around 1820, by the family of the present owners, to grind barley and wheat.

Beautiful beach and cliff walks, short and long, from your doorstep.

Fully equipped and conveniently near to all shops, services, but in rural setting. This holiday cottage is rated 3 stars by the government tourism agency.

This mill is reached through 30 steps. The mill is on two levels linked by a spiral staircase and can sleep 2 people in comfort, plus 1 child. One bedroom with a double bed (1m40 wide) + a child’s bed, separated by curtains. En suite bathroom, with shower and toilet. Living room with sofabed, CD, DVD reader, Satellite TV. Wood stove. Kitchen with microwave/classic oven, washing machine. Terrace facing the sea with garden furniture. 1.4 km from shops and services.

The main heating is through hot water radiators, included in the price. There are additional electric radiators. The price includes water and electricity within the limit of 8kwh per night. Additional kwh charged at 0.20 €/kwh. Rented as gite (weekly rental, do your own cleaning).

Delightful Seaside House: A Perfect Getaway

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this accommodation with a stunning sea view. Everything met our expectations and left us fully satisfied. The host was extremely friendly and welcoming. The house perfectly matched its description, boasting a lovingly and tastefully decorated interior. Communication with the host was excellent throughout our stay. We highly recommend this place to others. It's also very dog-friendly, which is a big plus for pet owners.

huisje bij de manoir

Ligging was prachtig. Vond de prijs voor het huisje,achteraf, erg hoog. Huisje was super klein. Begrijp dat je ook betaalt voor de ligging, maar het 2-persoons huisje was dit geld niet waard. Vrienden verbleven in het 4-persoons huis. Dit was veel luxer en de prijs wel waard.

Séjour au moulin à orges

Enjoyed our stay

Very well located: close to the sea, a bit secluded and yet the bakery still within walking distance. Cap La Hague itself has a great, varied coastline that is good for hiking and there are good restaurants. The heating didn't work at the beginning of our stay and despite the rainy weather, Philippe came immediately to get everything working again. Overall, we had a wonderful time in this very special place.

Schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Uriges, aber leider nicht sehr sauberes Ferienhäuschen. Das Bad war sauber, die Küchenutensilien nicht. In der Klappcouch, auf die wir ausgewichen sind, weil das Bett dermaßen durchgelegen war, haben wir Mäusekot gefunden. M.E. sollte die Endreinigung vom Vermieter organisiert werden. Der Vermieter kommuniziert per Mail und nicht wie üblich über fewo-direkt, die Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort spricht ausschließlich Französisch. Die Gegend ist toll, aber beim nächsten Mal in einer anderen Unterkunft.

Moulin au charme fou, idéalement situé, au calme, avec vue sur mer, proche du chemin des Douaniers, d'un excellent restaurant (Le Landemer), a proximité des commerces, sans compter sur la résolution tres rapide et efficace d'un (petit) probleme ménager! A refaire des que possible ...

Häuschen in toller Region

Das Häuschen liegt eingebettet in ein Wäldchen nebem dem plätschernden Mühlbach, diese sehr nette Lage hat natürlich die Konsequenz, dass am Haus fast keine Sonne ist. Die Ausstattung ist funktional, die Küche hat eine gute Ausstattung, gefehlt haben auch uns bequeme Gartenmöbel. Beigeistert hat uns die sehr abwechslungsreiche Umgebung, die Küste, die nach jeder Kurve anders aussieht. Unsere Hündin hat die Morgen und Abend Spaziegänge am langen Strand genossen.

Nettes Häuschen in schöner Lage

Das Haus liegt am Hang und mitten im Wald, über viele Steinstufen erreichbar und mit einem sehr schönen Blick auf das Meer. Es ist idyllisch und urig, aber man darf keinen Komfort erwarten. Das Außengelände ist mit Vorsicht zu genießen - abschüssig ohne Sicherung, für uns kein Problem, aber für Senioren und Kleinkinder nicht geeignet. Durch die Lage sind die Sonnenstunden am Haus auf 2 Stunden (7:00 - 9:00Uhr) begrenzt… das war schade. Sehr freundlicher Empfang und soweit alles im Haus vorhanden - bis auf bequeme Gartenmöbel. Ein außergewöhnliches Quartier für jeden, der es gerne individuell mag!
