Salmon fishing! Wilderness cabin with sauna on quiet wooded plot, 200 m from Russelva, which is a good salmon river. Many fishing lakes in the area, great hiking areas and hunting grounds. Nice starting point for day trips by car around Finnmark, i.a. to the North Cape. The cabin was built in 1881, renovated in 1999 and has 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed. A double bed in the loft. The cabin has a wood-fired sauna with room for 4 people. In the bathroom is a bio-toilet. Free internet with large capacity. In the living room there is a TV with Tv2 and NRK, Netflix, HBO and Google Chrome. Wood-burning stove that provides good heat even on cold winter days. The cabin is located in a quiet cabin area with some other cabins and has a sun terrace with barbecue and outdoor furniture. The Porsanger peninsula is a large wilderness area with hundreds of fish-rich waters with trout and char. Here you can wander for days without seeing other people. The area is also attractive for small game hunting. Dogs are welcome in the cabin. 200 m to Russelva where salmon fishing can be done in the period 1.6-31.8 against the purchase of a fishing licence. Fishing time and fishing license must be checked for each individual season. Outside the cabin is great hiking terrain for the whole family. Nice starting point for day trips by car around Finnmark, to Nordkapp, Hammerfest etc. 150 m to the main road, good parking at the cottage, 5 km to the colonial shop.
