The rest for recreation we needed
Emma could not have been more helpful. The house was so lovely and cosy. In a beautiful rural setting. Good position for St Andrew’s. We also did Edinburgh from there. Close to Cupar for anything you need.

Cozy, warm and rural
Nicely appointed and well maintained. Heating was on so was lovely and warm - didn’t notice hot water wasn’t on, but that was easily remedied once we realised! Bring your own toiletries - only liquid hand soap. Very peaceful night’s sleep in comfortable beds. Will come again. Thank you.

Hamish and Emma renovated the cottage in 2022 after it had been empty for nearly 80 years. The cottage lies within the grounds of Hamish's family home which has been in the family for over 150 years. We now live in the main house with our two children.

Why they chose this property

It is a beautiful property and it's great it is being enjoyed.

What makes this property unique

Very safe, quiet and secure it is ideally located to explore Fife, the East Neuk, St Andrews, Dundee and Perth. Train stations at Cupar and Ladybank allow easy access straight into Edinburgh centre within 1 hour. Ideal for lots of walks either in woodland (Pitmedden and Tentsmuir), beaches (St Andrews, Elie, Tentsmuir) and hills (Lomonds). Lots of great biking, either road or mountain biking.
