Amazing location!

The unit that we stayed in was small but had everything we needed! It was clean and well equipped. We didn’t cook any meals but appreciates the toaster and coffee maker for quick breakfasts and the microwave for heating up leftovers. We enjoyed people watching from the deck with our morning coffee. The bed was very comfortable and we were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was even though the location is in the middle of a very busy area. You can’t beat this location!!

Location, helpful and friendly management

The apt. was as described. It accommodated our family of 4 perfectly. The location is ideal! If my teenage daughters wanted to shop on their own or return to the apt. on their own from the beach, it was a short, safe walk. The manager recommended beaches and snorkeling options. On the morning of our check-out, our ferry to Naples was cancelled due to bad seas. The manager arranged for a taxi to the Naples train station, a porter to take our luggage up the hill to the taxi pick-up spot, and allowed us to keep our bags in the apt. so we had time to have a nice meal before we had to leave. On top of everything, it is great value for the price. I highly recommend this property.

Perfect size for 4 people. Amazing location, in the heart of Positano.

We loved the location, as it was close to the beach and restaurants. The place was well kept and clean. It also had a washer which was helpful since we were traveling other places. The view from the balcony was very disappointing and the hot water ran out fast, but besides that it was a great stay.

Cozy Small Apartment (Casa Antonio) in Central Positano

Location cannot be beat, right next to the cathedral. It's easy to find - go right from the ferry, up the stairs next to Ristorante Le Tre Sorelle (the Three Sisters restaurant), turn right, up some more stairs, check in at the clothing shop Macrame, the house is around the corner (a few more stairs) next to the beautiful ceramics shop. Search for "Creations Macrame, Positano" on Google Map and you will get the approximate location. There are some stairs (about 40-50?) - not too easy with big luggage but still better than most of the other places in Positano. After dropping off the luggage it's easy to walk to restaurants, shops and the beach. Central location but quiet in the room. The Apartment (Caso Antonio) has a bedroom, a living room, an entrance area with a dining table, a bathroom, a small kitchen and a tiny balcony with a bit of sea view. Lovely decoration. Very clean. Plenty of towels. The bedroom has a double bed and the living room has 2 single beds. Comfortable to fit a group of 3 but might be a bit cramped for 4. A/C in the dining area and bedroom. Washer in the kitchen - no dryer but you can hang the clothes on the small balcony to dry. Beds are comfortable enough. Tourist tax and electricity charges are extra. We paid 13 Euro electricity charges for a stay of 2 nights but we used A/C and washer so it seems fair.

Best location in Positano.

We had a wonderful time in Positano and our apartment was great. The apartment is very well equipped with everything you would need for your visit. Positano is such a lovely town and the restaurants are just below the apartment near the beach. We took the boat to Capri, which is just steps away from your location. The boat ride takes about 30 minutes and the views are amazing.

amazing views and location

right in the heart of Positano. walking distance to everything. You are located right in the heart of the city. Beautiful spot. Lots of space. We stayed for 4 days and were very comfortable. Pictures are hard to tell which room you are getting, but it was so very nice, clean, and updated. We were only 2 people. But you could easily fit 4 people in here. Great spot! Highly recommend it.

Great Spot but Poor Advertising

The location is perfect - right on the lower level of Positano so you are not crawling up and down the steps all day. The posting actually shows pictures for all 3 apartments they have for rent which made it confusing for us when we were given the smallest spot and were looking for some of the amenities listed on the other pictures. I have looked back at the posting and it does say this but not very clearly. Be sure you are booking the actual spot you want and make sure to read the info on each picture to ensure your expectations are met. The place we received was very nice and the staff that let us in were very helpful.

Beautiful apartment in a great location.

After agonizing hours of research I am so glad I selected this 1 bedroom apt. I had the queen room, my niece slept in the living room. You CAN NOT beat the location and charm of this apartment. I loved everything about it, the tiny terrace with table and two chairs is big enough to enjoy and you have a cloths line there for your beach towels and bathing suits. The check in was as simple as could be the owners don't bother you but if you need anything they are just downstairs in the Macremé shop. There is a view of the water from both the living room terrace and a large window in the queen room. There is a drawer with beach towers for you too. You cannot go wrong staying here.

Great location!

The location was fantastic, nestled in the village of Positano and only steps from the Mediterranean Sea! Only suggestion, make sure you confirm which room location you are booking, we were disappointed to receive a room without patio deck and scenic view as advertised. I think it was a miscommunication on the hosts part, but be certain you get what you book. I'm giving a 4 out 5, due to the mix up in room advertised vs. where we stayed. Also, be prepared to pay for parking, porter services for luggage and walk up and down hills/stairs. Not recommended for elderly or handicap. Positano is special and make sure you take the water taxi to Isle of Capri.

Great location and cute little apartment

Our stay was really nice. The location of the apartment was great, a really short walk from the beach and amongst all the shops and restaurants. I think staying here as opposed to at the top of Positano is better, you don't have to go up and down all the stairs every day. We did one trip up to get a nice view and then all the other days we went to the beach and got the water taxis as we were super close to everything. The apartment is really nice and clean. The only issue i had was that we had to pay for the electricity and the wifi kept dropping in and out. Apart from that everything was perfect and the girls had great customer service and helped us with anything we needed!

Amazing Time in Positano

The apartment was exactly what we were looking for while vacationing on the Amalfi Coast! It was very clean and just a short walk to the beach, stores and restaurants. Angela was also very helpful in coordinating a transport to/from Naples for us. I will definitely stay there again the next time I visit and have already recommended it to family/friends planning to travel.

Fantastic location!

This apartment was so cute and well located. It was steps away from the beach! We stayed in the small apartment with one double bed and two single beds. The pictures of this apartment are the first of the balcony and the last two of the bathroom and anteroom. We found the macrame shop right away using the previous reviews and the owners were very accommodating. We had a small electricity charge. We would definitely stay here again! So lucky to have found this apartment.

Location is excellent, advertising is misleading

The location of this property was excellent, whats not good is that the owner has three apartments advertised in one listing. You believe you are looking at pictures of the unit you are renting when in fact it could be a totally different unit. The actual picture being sent with my request for the review is the unit which we thought we were getting but got there smallest least equiped unit instead and theres no way to argue the fact onsite. Also check out said 11 am but when onsite was told 10 am and hydro electricity is charged for.

POSITANO PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!

We had 4 people staying here for 3 days. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was stocked plenty well for basic cooking *if we had wanted to*. We rented the smaller unit on ground level but it did have a small water view and a small outdoor patio with a beautiful small table and chairs. The location was perfect, just a short distance to the water and many shops, a take-away grocery and other eateries not far in either direction *up or down*. The villa was very clean and neat. The bathroom had plenty of fluffy soft towels and a bar of the most divine lemon soap. Plenty of other little touches that made you feel at home, unlike most hotel rooms. Make sure you know where the macrame shop is to pick up your keys BEFORE you get to Positano! Very easy but you have to know! As you are standing facing the front of the big Church, go up and around the side *on your left*, after you get around the side, take the set of stairs down right beside the Church, the Macrame shop is directly at the bottom. Check in was quick and easy and very friendly. There was a charge for electricity at the end of the stay. The owner goes and checks the meter. Ours was only 7 euros for the whole 3 days but we only had the air conditioning on for about 30 minutes one time *we were there in early May*. Do not hesitate to book this wonderful little Villa. I know when I return to Positano, I will stay here again.

Great spot, clean and comfortable

Our stay in Positano was great overall! We loved having a balcony to sit and eat outside. It was close to the ocean and in a prime location. Perhaps our only issue was the noise. There were often people heading back to their place in the middle of the night. Their voices would echo above and below us, often waking us up a few times.

Great little apartment near the beach

I stayed in four places on this trip to Italy and this one was by far my favorite. The location is excellent - although I had a little bit of a hard time finding the shop where I met the property managers. They provided a shop name but I didn't have a clue which direction to walk once I arrived. More on that in a minute. The peek-a-boo view of the Tyrrhenian Sea is beautiful, the apartment is outfitted with everything you need and more, lots of extra touches that highlight the ceramics and artisans of the local area. And, there were lots of towels! Something you don't always find in rentals, especially in European rentals. The location is very close to the beach area yet, at least in October, not noisy at all. It was a bit of a climb to the upper areas of Positano but not too difficult. You get there via a winding path, not steps, which is easier to manage, I think. I really hated to leave this place - both because I loved this apartment and because Positano and the Amalfi coast are so gorgeous. There was an issue with the power while I was there but the managers took such great care of me. And, I am confident they will find and implement a solution so that it won't happen again. All of the people I dealt with were very nice, helpful and concerned whenever I popped into the shop. Special recognition, though, for Clementina who was my main contact and who really jumped in to handle the power issue. I arrived by boat and the easiest way to find the shop is to look for the big church, Chiesa de Santa Maria Assunta - you can't miss it, as it dominates nearly every view of Positano - go up the steps to the church, around the left side, then back down a few steps - they will provide more information about the shop name, etc. If you are being dropped off in upper Positano, taking the walkway (Via del Mulini) from the spot where Viale Pasitea becomes Via Cristoforo Columbo down to just before the church and turning left will also get you there. I hope to return to Positano and this apartment in the near future! A prior review says there was an extra charge for electricity but I did not experience this. When looking at the photos, I think there are only two of this apartment. The very first one of the small balcony - I spent a lot of time out there, and the very last of the bathroom.

Best location right next to the main church

First, please do not try to find this location with Google maps, it will take you to a different place completely, up the stairs. Not fun with luggage. The location is absolutely perfect, Just walk toward the main church that is closest to the beach, walk under the vines, make a left at the church, and it is right next to the ceramic shop that displays the tables. The place was very clean, huuuuge, with two separate rooms, a kitchen, big bathroom, and a little common dining area. The WiFi signal was very strong, allowing for seamless voice/video calls. The location, again, is perfect, especially compared to those staying up the steps (you get the views up there, but have to go up / down 500+ steps every time you want to do anything). Here you literally go out your door and you're in the thick of it, steps from all the restaurants, shops, and the beach.

Great overall location to be in in Positano. Clean, quaint, and well equipped.

I would stay here again for sure. Only very small negative thing to say was once we arrived we were informed that electricity would be an extra charge. It was not that much ....10 euros i think....but it should have been disclosed at the time of booking.

very nice location and the rooms were big and very comfortable, one of the nicest places we stayed at while spending 2 weeks in Italy. Would go back again and stay in the same place. Did not get a chance to see the owner but the person she left in charge did a great job and made us feel very welcome.

Great Location-perfect apartment!

The two bedroom apartment was perfect for our family of 4! Our boys (11&13) used the 2nd bedroom with two twin sized beds. The apartment has a small kitchen with gas stove and oven, which we did not use as we enjoyed dinners and meals out! It is vacation after all. But the large refrigerator came in handy for water bottles, fruit and yogurt. It has a nice sized bathroom with stand up shower. And, meals (if you dined in) could be enjoyed in a small dining room area. The location was prime for restaurants, shopping, coffee, supermarket and of course the amazing sea/beach. Can't say enough good things about our trip to Positano and this apartment!
