The letting agency was good; easy to communicate with, efficient and proactive. Flat was well located, clean and generally well presented. However, some major faults spoilt the overall stay. The main bed was a poor excuse of one. The mattress had collapsed, was very uncomfortable and contributed to a series of terrible nights sleep. Any longer, and a bad back would be inevitable. Secondly, it’s 2025 and the flat is in York city centre - yet the internet was worse than remote homes have in deep Devon. I heard excuses but it’s unnecessary and unacceptable and caused undue inconvenience.
We completely enjoyed our stay in this apartment! It had plenty of room, was clean and very comfortable. The only complaint was traffic noise. With no air conditioning, we had windows open and the constant traffic was very noisy. We arrived on a Friday so I think the busy Friday night traffic was the worst. The other days, not as bad but still louder than I would have liked.
