Region: Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian’s Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.
Town: This charming and tranquil harbour community is located next to Beadnell Bay, one of Northumberland's most stunning parts of the Heritage Coastline. Beadnell, which dates back to the Saxon era, was once a significant fishing community and a sanctuary for smugglers. Even though it is still a fishing community today, tourists often visit to take advantage of the charming harbour and, of course, the neighbouring sandy beaches. A store, two pubs, and a café with meals are all present in the village. Just over a mile away, the well-known Seahouses offers restaurants, a supermarket, stores, and boat cruises to the lovely Farne Islands, a sanctuary for bird lovers. While Alnwick, a market town with a castle, gardens, shops, pubs, and restaurants, is only a short drive from Bamburgh, it is also close by.
