About this property
Bryn Llys Uchaf - Three Bedroom Cottage, Sleeps 5
Bryn Llys Uchaf is a lovely two-bedroom semi-detached cottage sleeping up to 4 people. Found in the central Snowdonia village of Capel Curig, with wonderful mountains all around and in easy reach of beaches. Fun activities and amusements are just a short stop away with the cottage close to both Zip World and Surf Snowdonia both within an easy drive of the village.
Bryn Llys Uchaf is perfect for people wanting to explore Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park and the wider region of North Wales. Located in Capel Curing, close to Moel Siabod (summit of 2860ft), this semi-detached cottage provides views over the countryside and quick access to walking routes. For the less active, exploring this beautiful area is equally easy by car. The roads to and from the house pass through the valleys and mountains which make this area so popular. Bryn Llys Uchaf accepts 1 dog, so you can bring your pet with you for no extra charge.
The ground floor has a living room with log burner, a well equipped kitchen-diner, and bathroom with shower and WC. Upstairs are the bedrooms and family bathroom (bath with a shower over it, WC, sink and heated towel rail). There is a twin bedroom and double bedroom. The cottage has great WiFi access, off road parking for 2 cars, and space to store bikes. Bed linen and towels are provided.
Capel Curig is inside the Eryri National Park (Snowdonia) and you can explore the area on foot with a choice of relatively flat routes near to the cottage or the mountains of Moel Siabod and Tryfan slightly further away. The Plas y Brenin National Mountain Sports Centre is a 5 minute walk away and offers a number of courses and activities, Other activities in the area inlcude Zip World and Surface Snowdonia. Capel Curig has a number of cafes and hotels near by if you fancy eating out.
A small mountain village with a big reputation. All self-respecting outdoor enthusiasts will have heard of Capel Curig. The mountains in North Wales are its raison d’être. The village stands in a crucial fork in the road. Go north-west along the A5 Nant Ffrancon Pass and you’re into the glacial wildernesses of the Glyders and Carneddau, with the triangular peak of Tryfan – a siren not to be tackled lightly – looming above the waters of Llyn Ogwen. Go south-east and you’re soon at the foot of Yr Wyffa (Snowdon) and the boulder-strewn Llanberis Pass, where legendary rock climbers like Joe Brown and Don Whillans cut their teeth, and the team that first conquered Everest trained. Brown then famously opened his shop selling outdoor gear in Capel Curig in the late 1960s, and it’s still going strong today.
Details of arrival, location, and check-in and other useful information will be emailed to you 1 week before your arrival. If you do not receive these details, please contact info@northwalesholidaycottages.co.uk.

North Wales Holiday Cottages is a holiday letting agency based in Deganwy, Conwy where we have been for over 50 years. Established in 1966, we are Wales' oldest independent holiday letting agency, so we are a name you can trust. We visit all of our properties to make sure standards are maintained and to familiarise ourselves with the houses so we can answer any questions you may have. Visit Wales, an independent government body, also inspects the properties and awards them a quality star grading. Each year we help thousands of people find somewhere to stay in North Wales and we'd love to find somewhere for you too.
