The first stay I’ve ever left early from
The booking process and location with the flat were easily the best two things about this stay. Everything else unfortunately fell short.
To start when we were driving up to the property we still hadn’t had any information about how to check in, calling the number that was listed on the website we finally got through to someone who then helpfully sent on the details.
Arriving, the parking space reserved for us was already taken up by another car. Getting inside was easy and the flat seemed lovely at first, until when first using the bathroom and finding one of the towels had a suspicious brown mark on it.
The shower didn’t work well at all with the amount of limescale on both shower heads. After scrubbing some of this off, we both managed to have a quick wash, only to find the hairdryer provided didn’t work.
The space of the flat and the layout itself was very nice, the main problem we had was the cleanliness of it and how no care had been taken to even hoover up simple things, like other people’s hair on the bathroom floor.
We also found a green/brown stain on the floor behind the bedroom door and the dish washer was dirty. There was also other people’s rubbish in the drawers in the bedroom.
The irredeemable key issue we had, which topped off our decision to leave early & find somewhere else to stay, was when we discovered brown marks on the duvet.
Please sort out your cleaning process as this is definitely not worth the money we paid for this stay.
