Long Weekend

It was really pretty to sit beside the Harbour entrance and watch the coming and going of the big Ijssle-Aak (two master) while having the breakfast. Good point to start a trip to Amsterdam or a tour around the ijsselmeer. We enjoy our stay a lot. Thanks!

Sehr erholsamer Urlaub

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Es war herrlich einfach vor der Wohnung zu sitzen, den Enten und Möven zuzuschauen und die ein- und ausfahrende Boote zu beobachten. Wir hätten mit Lärm in einem Hafen gerechnet. Es ging zwar morgens gegen 8 Uhr los, da wir aber immer etwas vorhatten, waren wir sowieso wach. Der Ort Monnickendam ist gemütlich und alles was man braucht ist vor Ort. Der Supermarkt ist zu empfehlen. Die Anbindung mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln an Amsterdam ist sehr gut. Es gibt nur einen negativen Punkt: In unserer Küche gab es lediglich eine Mikrowelle. Bei einer Ferienwohnung hätten wir wenigstens mit einem Induktionsfeld o. ä. gerechnet. Das hat unsere Essensplanung durcheinander gebracht. Es war jeden Tag Essengehen angesagt.

Schöne nett gestylte Zimmer direkt am Hafen

Wir haben die Tage in Monnickendam am Hafen sehr genossen. Die Zimmer/Appartements befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe zum idyllischen Ortskern. Nette Restaurants, Cafes, etc.. Wir haben lediglich ein paar gemütliche Sitzgelegenheiten mit Tisch vermisst, um z. B. draussen zu frühstücken oder am Abend den Schiffen beim Einlaufen zuzusehen. Etwas mehr Abstellmöglichkeit im Bad wäre schön. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

Wonderful stay in Monnickendam

The team of Waterland, mainly a yacht-harbour and charter basis, is very service oriented and warm-hearted. We stayed here in order to make our boat ready for the winter and enjoyed the comfort of the beautifully appointed appartment during the first colder days of the year

Très bon séjour! Chambre et cuisine fonctionnelle, manque plaques pour chauffer sinon parfait. Très bon accueil et disponibilité pour toutes nos questions. Vue sur le port de notre chambre vraiment très agréable. Météo digne de la Provence! Superbes ballades à faire dans les villages alentour...

Wij hebben het erg naar onze zin gehad met de hele familie. Beide kamers en beide appartementen voor een aantal nachten gereserveerd. Prima kamers, schoon en gezellig ingericht. Buiten kun je gebruik maken van de picknick tafels. Op loopafstand van het centrum, eventueel kun je nog een fiets lenen voor een boodschap.

Helemaal top. Schoon, gezellig, comfortabele. Hele leuke inrichting. Prima ontvangst. Ligging appartement is goed, gezellig uitzicht en veel zon. Enthousiast, kan iedereen aanraden, ook voor een verblijf van een aantal weken.
