Contemporary Stylish Detached Villa, 3 double bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms, sea view & pine forest views. Spacious light and airy rooms with plenty of storage space. Air Con throughout & Wood burning modern stove in the living room.

Outside there is a wonderful 8mx4m private swimming pool,(which can be heated for an extra charge) built in barbecue grill, sink and poolside shower, planted throughout with mature exotic plants, private rear shaded garden with Pine Forest behind. The Villa is fitted with Air conditioning/heating, Satelite TV's/Video/wifi. It is Situated in a peaceful secluded location of the South West Algarve, 10 minutes from the nearest beach (Cabanas Velha) and beach bar/restaurant but surrounded by a number of beaches to suit your taste, from peaceful secluded coves to long expanse of sandy surf beaches.

The vibrant town of Lagos is 20 mins drive away, providing night life & shopping, marina, sailing club etc. whereas the unspoilt fishing villages of Salema and Burgau are a great day out and offer some great restaurants. There are also fishing and dolphin watching trips going out daily from Sagres harbour 15 minutes drive away. The Villa is situated within an area of outstanding beautiful within walking distance of coastal pathways and ideal for walking and cycling holidays especially in Spring when the local area has some beautiful displays and examples of rare flora and fauna. A car is recommended to fully appreciate the amazing surrounding area and its beauty. Villa is easily reached from FARO airport (60 mins) or LISBON (150 mins).

Well equipped and stylish property in a great part of world.

We are a family of five and have enjoyed a very comfortable stay here. The house is stylish and well equipped with good views. It is great for relaxing but located perfectly for getting out to the many incredible beaches nearby. There is much to explore in a laid back, friendly and helpful atmosphere. There are many good restaurants and the local food is a joy.

This was a peaceful stylish villa

We had a wonderful time together as a family with plenty of space, style and lovely extra touches. The kitchen was really well equipped and both beds and sofa were very comfortable. The pool was a delight and we could spend all daylight hours outside with the bedroom sun terrace too. Thank you to the owners who communicated really well and have clearly thought of everything you need in a holiday property but with style.

Quiet Location

Amazing, beautiful villa. We really enjoyed our time here expect issues outside the owners control. Very secluded location so ideally need a car as local taxi company is a bit hit and miss and can’t get an uber around the area.

Amazing villa in perfect location

We had a fabulous week at the Villa in Quinta do Fortaleza. It is very close to both Bergau and Salema which are destination villages in their own right. Lovely country feel and beautiful beaches only a short drive away. The villa has tons of space a beautiful pool and nice views. Every bedroom has an en suite and it was fully stocked with what we needed for a great stay. The hosts were very communicative and had lots of nice recommendations for our stay. As mentioned in other reviews wifi isn’t the best especially upstairs but it wasn’t an issue for us. Anyone would enjoy staying at this villa

A fabulous villa stay in Portugal

This was a family holiday to celebrate 2 birthdays -my husband's 70th and our grandson's 10th. This was our first extended family holiday and the villa provided the perfect setting - very spacious throughout, all bedrooms with an en-suite, a lovely pool and outside dining area with a barbecue and a large balcony from the largest bedroom and every household item you could need. The modern and well-equipped kitchen made self-catering a pleasure. Books, games and various beach items were all there and enhanced our stay. The area was quiet and near to all the amenities we needed. The nearest beach and restaurant , the Cabanas, was perfect for us and the food was truly excellent. We had hired a car and visited many beaches, all of which we enjoyed. This was our first trip to Portugal and we will certainly be back. The villa was exceptional in every way so thank you

Das Haus macht einen sehr schönen und sauberen Eindruck. Es ist sehr geräumig und der Pol ist in Ordnung und sauber. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist umfangreich. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir von einer sehr freundlichen Mitarbeiterin besucht. Wir konnten das TV nicht benutzen, da es nicht intakt war. Wir wiesen die Mitarbeiterin am ersten Tag unseres Aufenthaltes darauf hin- bis zur Abreise wurde Nichts repariert. Wir riefen noch mehrfach an- keine Hilfe beim TV. Unmittelbar neben dem Haus gibt es ein Grundstück mit einem unfertigen Haus (Baustelle). Der Urlaub wurde durch permanenten Lärm unerträglich, ganze 3 Tage hinweg starker Lärm von der Baustelle unmittelbar neben dem Ferienhaus. Dass muss bei der Vermietung angezeigt werden!!! Wir möchten einen kleinen finanziellen Ausgleich, wir haben schon mehrfach Mails formuliert - bisher keine Reaktion… das ist sehr schade! The house makes a very nice and clean impression. It is very spacious and the pole is in order and clean. The equipment of the kitchen is extensive. Upon our arrival, we were visited by a very friendly employee. We could not use the TV because it was not intact. We pointed out to the employee on the first day of our stay - nothing was repaired until departure. We called several times - no help with the TV. Directly next to the house there is a plot with an unfinished house (construction site). The holiday became unbearable due to permanent noise, for a whole 3 days of strong noise from the construction site dir
