Cute and comfortable "cottage" feel/decor home located in the heart of Marquette and dog friendly. Enjoy summer breezes, outdoor fire pit (firewood provided) and small but fully enclosed yard with 8 foot cedar privacy fence. Sit on the front porch and enjoy the views: several of Marquette's historical buildings, downtown activity, and glimpses of the Great Lake Superior. Walk or bike to everything and anything - Lower Harbor, local breweries, Farmer's Market, Music on Third Street (weekly in summer), Presque Isle, Black Rocks, bike and hiking trails and more!!! Ceiling fans and many windows throughout entire home with views of people and places around town; bamboo floors in dining/living room and bedrooms: Bedroom #1/queen bed; Bedroom #2/single bed. Off-street parking for 2 vehicles, washer/dryer, Coleman propane grill, herb garden (seasonal), and walk-in shower.

Great stay, right downtown

Adorable pet friendly cottage right down, they even had toys and bowls for the dogs, very thoughtful. Enclosed yard, and an "over the top" shower ! Would stay there again !

Great location in Marquette

I can’t think of a better location in Marquette to stay. This house is literally one block from everything. You can walk to every restaurant and every bar and every bakery and the library, etc.. The house itself is very cute and it has a next level shower with three shower heads The photos are very accurate and it was just the two of us so it was more than enough space. The fact that this place is also dog friendly, makes it a no-brainer to book. When we come back to Marquette, we will be looking here first to see if this property is available.

Wonderful Fall visit

We had a most wonderful visit; we loved the cozy house! Our daughter stayed with us too! We had a great time walking around downtown and seeing live music at BlackRock! Happy hour at Portside is a favorite! LOVE the Farmers Market! The Colors were amazing and the firepit out back was nice!

Walk to shopping restaurants and breweries in Marquette!

This property owner thought of every detail to make the guests comfortable. The house was very clean and welcoming. We brought our dog and found a basket full of freshly washed stuffed toys; as well as a food and water bowl ~ nice touch ! It was great to be able to walk to Baby Cakes on Mainstreet to get our coffee and pastries each morning to start our day. You will definitely enjoy your stay at this house.

Nice place, close to town

Overall, a good place to spend a few days. The location is perfect, just a couple blocks from shopping, restaurants and the lake. The yards was small, but private and comfortable. The inside was comfortable but hot, even with several fans.

Great location a few blocks from pretty much everything in downtown. Very clean and well kept. Fenced in yard/ dog bowls/ dog towels/ toys are very accommodating for small to medium sized dog.

September vacation

Location near center of town was great! House had everything we needed to regroup between camping trips. Fourth Street can be a busy road and at times the road noise was loud when we had the windows open. I would definitely stay here again!

Beer Fest

Yearly trip to Marquette for Beer Festival. This is a very convenient spot, close to downtown. Host responsive. Updated bathroom, shower is great.

Great place

This is a great centrally located place in Marquette. It has everything you need and we love the shower. Beds are very comfortable and window fans help cool off the air so you sleep great. The fire pit outside is great for doing smores. We already have booked our next trip.

Not able to check in. Did not stay at property.

Couldn’t reach host by message or phone for check in instructions after 7 hour drive to Marquette. Finally contacted VRBO for assistance. They were unsuccessful in contacting host as well. Had to cancel reservation with VRBO and then find room in local motel. Received apology from host later that evening. Apology accepted. Received refund for cancellation. Looks like a nice place to stay in Marquette though.

Very dog friendly

Disappointed with managers very delayed response when booking and during stay (reported other and cell phone issues). At arrival, house very hot with no fans or ventilation. Dead bugs in windows, coffee maker and on the floor. W/D in dirty basement with linens left in the dryer. Yard, dog bowls and treats are great for a dog. Close to neighbors especially with windows open, but nice that is walkable to waterfront, restaurants and trails.

Perfect size and location for small family.

The home is in a perfect location a block from both Washington and 3rd, which makes for a short walk to the business district, restaurants, coffee, breweries, bike trail, and farmers market. Well appointed and very clean, with small sideyard that is fenced and two porches. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Perfect location to enjoy Marquette

Chic uncluttered decor, plenty spacious for two or three. Clean. The shower is amazing, with 3 showerheads. It is 1 1/2 blocks from the Iron Heritage bike trail and 1 block off Third St and Washington where all the stores, art galleries, breweries, and restaurants. It is an easy walk to the beach and waterfront. The owner was very responsive.

Best place yet!

Easy to find, easy to get in, full ammenities! Plus the backyard being fenced in was great for the dog. Awesome bathroom, the shower is ahhh-mazing. Comfy bed with extra pillows and linens in the closet. We were stoked to see the obviously dog-friendliness. Treats, food/water bowls, even a towel on the floor by the foodbowl we used for wiping our dag's paws. Not to mention the couch covering, which made us not feel obligated to clean up every speck of doghair in order to avoid extra cleaning fees. 10/10 will stay here every time we come to Marquette and this property is available 👌👍
