About this property
Walter's Neuk Anstruther- luxury coastal home
Walter's Neuk is a stunning three bedroom home centrally located in the popular coastal town, Anstruther. Forming part of a recent conversion from the old school, it retains elements of the traditional building with double height ceilings and arched windows beautifully complemented with a contemporary, high quality finish throughout. With three bathrooms, a fabulous open plan layout to the living spaces, off street parking and an enclosed courtyard and garden area it's a fantastic holiday home.
Everything has been thought of to make sure that your stay at Walter's Neuk is exceptional. The spacious accommodation- with two king bedrooms and a twin room- allows for a family or group of friends to relax and unwind in stylish surroundings, with plenty space to socialise both inside and out whilst also giving option to have your own space to retreat to. Rooftop views from the first floor look out over the harbour and across to the Bass Rock, whilst the home is flooded with light from the full height windows making it bright and welcoming all day long.
A spacious, enclosed courtyard with a range of seating for outdoor dining and relaxing along with a barbecue makes the most of the afternoon and early evening sun. The courtyard opens on to an additional garden area, laid with grass, making Walter's Neuk a superb choice for those with children and dogs*. A smart TV with netflix account, luxury Egyptian cotton bedding and carefully chosen accessories which celebrate coastal living and local artists are just a few examples of the attention to details that has gone in to making Walter's Neuk such a high standard.
Named after Walter, the much loved cocker spaniel of the owners, this dog friendly home welcomes your four legged family members too.
* Please note that as the external landscaping is due for completion at the end of spring, photographs will be updated to show the external areas shortly.
The entire property is for the sole use of the guest making the booking. There is private outdoor space and two allocated parking spaces.
Walter's Neuk is managed by local, family agency Pittenweem Properties. We will be in touch with you ahead of your stay with details for arrival, the local area and our recommendations. We stay within the area and can be contacted as required during your stay.
The East Neuk is a string of traditional fishing villages on the East coast of Fife. There is a fantastic range of local food and drink from fresh seafood to artisan bakeries and farmers markets. There is a vibrant arts community with several music, art and food and drink festivals throughout the year. Perfect for golfers, St Andrews is about 10 miles and there are renowned golf courses within the East Neuk. The Fife coastal path connects all of the villages and is popular with hikers as well as those who enjoy a more relaxed wander with fabulous scenery. There are a range of activities you can try your hand at from watersports to distillery tours and tastings or you can simply enjoy the tranquil surroundings of the coast and countryside. The East Neuk is incredibly dog friendly and most of our properties welcome dogs. Perfect for all age groups, it's no wonder the East Neuk is known as the jewel in the crown of the Kingdom of Fife and why guests come back time and again.
We will send guests a digital guestbook ahead of your stay to allow you to plan how you will experience the East Neuk.
