About this property
Charming Chic, secluded villa within walking distance from Lorgues
Escape to your own charming secluded villa in the Var nestled in 10 acres of land and olive trees . The classic sun-kissed Provençal stone Villa is full of charm, and convenientally located just over an hour from Nice and Marseille airports, and 20 miles from St Tropez and the French Riviera. Featuring stunning terraces for al fresco dining, private swimming pool with a fabulous new Summer Kitchen, and spacious gardens with scents of Provence. All bedrooms have air conditioning and the oldest part of the house recently renovated with designer bathrooms.
Beautiful shading mulberry trees and plants adorn the tiered terracing outside the house, along with a wonderfully large covered area for al fresco relaxation, outside seating and dining tables that can cater for twenty. On the other side of the house, you can relax in the shade of a large pool house which overlooks the unusually shaped beautiful pool . There is a 9 meter pool house with a new summer kitchen - housing an outdoor Liebherr fridge/freezer, dish washer and Weber BBQ and even an Ooni pizza oven. You can relax and unwind or if you prefer play Ping Pong adjacent to the pool house.
The house itself has five bedrooms (3 en-suite) as well as four bathrooms and a separate cloakroom - making Mas Dinina the perfect place to holiday with family or friends. In addition nestled in the grounds is a fabulous romantic cabin with a king size bed and en suite bathroom. This also is perfect addition for yoga/meditation space as well as overflow accommodation.
All bedrooms have the benefit of newly installed reverse cycle air conditioning units to keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
Guests have access to the whole property exclusively. We have re wilded the land, encouraging rare flora and fauna and beautiful wild flower meadows. This is contrasted against beautiful dramatic landscaping adjacent to the house. The Villa is surrounded by a 20,000 sq.m olive grove of which you can roam.
Lorgues can be found in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France, in the middle of an abundance of vineyards and fields of olive trees. It is situated between the Mediterranean Sea and the Gorges du Verdon, so you are in the perfect position (only 40 minutes) to enjoy the Riviera beaches and glamour or the breathtaking scenery and adventures of France’s greatest canyon.
Lorgues is a small fortified provençal town, with its tight-packed streets, medieval towers, fountains and St Martin church whose grey stones glow pink as the sun sets. Many of its buildings are painted in a multitude of Provençal colors with contrasting shutters which create the perfect backdrop to the most popular and largest market in the area.
There are two large supermarkets, a plethora of bakeries and banks, newsagents, chemists, bars and cafés.
There are also plenty of restaurants that will cater for all your holiday needs, ranging from France’s finest truffle Michelin-starred restaurant (Chez Bruno) to more modest local Provençal fare and pizzerias. Almost every direction you go there is a vineyard, producing its own local wines and ready for tasting!
Mas Dinina is only a few minutes drive to the centre of Lorgues.
Further Afield:
Château de Berne – a large wine estate with a fine restaurant and jazz picnics

Salernes – a small town dominated by the ruins of it's 13th-century chateau and famous for its ceramics
Tourtour – called "the village in the sky of Provence", the town overlooks a large part of Provence from the town of Fréjus along the Mediterranean coast in the east to the Montagne Sainte-Victoire, a favorite subject of the painter Paul Cézanne, in the west. Also a member of "The most beautiful villages of France" association.

We have had the property for over 25 years and never stop loving it. There is so much to do and see and been a fabulous haven for us gathering with friends and family of all ages.
We are available to answer any questions you may have.

The villa is family owned and been in the family for over 25 years. Initially owned by our parents, we now run and operate the villa. We are an eclectic bunch, from graphic designers, property consultants, hoteliers and medics - we are here to answer any questions you have. we have all relaxed here but also worked form here and understand the needs of our guests.
Why they chose this property
My in-laws fell in love with the property over 25 years ago as have we all. Initially as a second home for them to for many months of the year it turned into a fab sanctuary for all the family to enjoy every summer. Between all members of the family, 7 grand children have enjoyed going there since tiny babies to now young adults. Wonderful walks with a push chairs, to fabulous markets nearby and delicious restaurants and cafes, all with walking distance. There is an abundance of fabulous vineyards and wine tasting opportunities in the region making it a fun place to go if you want a fun child free experience too. Plenty of space in the house fro a group of friends and fabulous entertaining. It really is a gorgeous home and provided many years of joy and continues to do so
What makes this property unique
The house has been well designed and knowing what we like when we stay in other properties. All bedrooms have air-conditioning so you can sleep well and enjoy your stay.
We don't want you to have to think of anything so have provided luxury amenities for your stay, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotions. In addition you have luxury cotton sheets and towels. We provide both indoor and outdoor pool towels for your stay and even a sarong for you to cover up for lunch should you wish.
We love being outside and enjoying the opportunities to dine outside when we can. As a result we have designed a beautiful pool house with outdoor summer kitchen so you have multiple areas to enjoy. The Pool house has everything you need, an outdoor fridge/freezer to chill your drinks and food. We have a large Weber gas BBQ for the chefs and even an Ooni pizza oven should you want to fire up something quickly for the children or quick pre drinks nibbles. We find the truffle pizzas rather addictive. the ping pong table is next door to the pool house, in the shade, so if sun bathing is not your thing you have activities as well. We love games so have left a lot of board games, puzzles and cards in the salon for you to enjoy too if you feel like a home day but there is plenty to explore in the area.
