About this property
Charming Barn Conversion near Canterbury, Kent
Lovingly renovated by skilled craftsmen, in the grounds of the farmyard, sits the Granary, a Grade II listed thatched building.
There are very few of these amazing buildings remaining in Kent, standing proud on staddlestones, a feature of the past to protect produce from unwelcome small hungry guests.
Your car has its own private space to the side of the Granary. Inside the original wooden walls have been retained with hidden insulation to ensure a cosy stay and downstairs you will find a snug lounge and kitchen equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine, kettle and a fridge stocked with fresh milk, soft drinks. a breakfast pack, including a jar of our own honey, homemade honey toasted muesli, and breakfast staples from our local butcher. A Smart TV and, of course, free broadband internet.
Walk into your shower room and you’ll find soft Egyptian cotton towels and luxury toiletries, with a powerful hair dryer available in the lounge. Upstairs on a mezzanine loft overlooking the lounge is the double bed, with Graham and Brown bedding and non-allergenic duvet and pillows. The loft is a unique, romantic experience, which needs to be enjoyed with a sense of adventure and amusement.
Outside, you will find your intimate patio and garden area, a space to rest and relax in private.
