About this property
Drovers Run - sleeps 2 guests in 1 bedroom
Drovers Run is a special open-plan retreat, with the cosy sitting area flowing directly into the luxurious bedroom, and with an attractive and well-appointed kitchen and dining area. The charming bedroom and sitting area overlooks the garden and rolling open fields. The comfortable king-size bed, with luxury bedding, fine linens, and complete with decorative cushions and throws is the perfect setting for long, lazy lie-ins whilst enjoying your morning coffee or a delicious breakfast in bed. A skylight above the bed offers the perfect view for gazing at the stars, whilst you'll also have beautiful views of the garden and surrounding fields through the windows and French doors. There is ample built-in storage so all of your luggage can be conveniently tucked away, and there are thoughtful touches throughout.
Directly in front of the bed lies a comfy two-seater sofa, plus a cosy Contura wood burning stove which is simply hypnotic to watch from the comfort of the bed, and perfect for the cooler months. In addition, there is a Smart TV and a Marshall Stockwell Bluetooth speaker. French doors allow the light to flood in, and lead directly out onto the decking area, creating additional living space during warmer weather.
The L-shaped kitchen is extremely well-equipped and has everything you need including an induction hob and oven, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, and Nespresso coffee machine. There is ample workspace for meal preparation, and a dining table with seating for two lies between the kitchen and sitting area. The gorgeous shower room is perfectly equipped for pampering, with a shower that has a fixed head and handheld flexible shower wand, whilst organic and locally produced toiletries await, along with fluffy bath and hand towels and underfloor heating.
Step through the French doors in the lounge area and you'll discover a pretty decked area with a table and seating for two with garden parasol, as well as a Weber gas barbecue for alfresco dining. With the sun rising over this lovely space, it's the perfect spot for enjoying morning coffee and listening to the birdsong. Additionally, two loungers await for lazy afternoons under the beautiful large Ash tree reading a good book. Surrounded by open grazing farmland, this is a nature lovers dream, with plentiful birdlife as well as grazing cows and sheep, and the pretty River Synderford nearby.
