Town: County Londonderry is home to the charming village and townland of Moneymore. With easy access to Magherafelt, Coleraine, Londonderry, and so much more, this charming community, which is nestled within a glen, makes an excellent touring base for people looking to see Northern Ireland. The Draper's company of London built the plantation town, which has a rich history as indicated by the 17th-century Plantation house, Springhill, which is now owned by the National Trust. The Moneymore Model Village, which portrays rural life in Ulster during the time of the Plantation, is another major attraction in Moneymore. The town is home to a good selection of services, including a scattering of pubs, restaurants, tearooms, convenience stores, and more, making it ideal for any self-catered visit. To the south of the town, the flowing Ballymully River makes a great location for a leisurely stroll. There is so much to do in and around Northern Ireland, including at the charming, award-winning marina in Ballyronan, which is home to a Blue Flag beach, a play area, and a nature walk in addition to being situated on the western banks of Lough Neagh. For even more services, restaurants, and amazing shops, go to the small town of Magherafelt. Or, travel farther to find Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland. The Grand Opera House, a renovated theatre and opera venue built in 1895, CS Lewis Square, a picturesque area honouring the author of The Chronicles of Narnia, a zoo, the Titanic's Dock and Pump House, shopping and recreation areas, and many more attractions can be found here. Take part in an outdoor adventure at Cave Hill Country Park to experience Belfast's beauty from a different angle or set out on a quest to discover the thrills of Ballycastle, Portrush, Londonderry, and other places.
