About this property
Luxury 3 Bedroom Loft Apartment - Central Stamford
Centrally located, in the heart of gorgeous Stamford, this luxury 3 bedroom loft apartment (part of the larger Old Granary) is the perfect base from which to explore the town. With revealed stonework, and old beams, it is brimming with character. It is also beautifully furnished, and fitted with all mod cons, making a fantastic mix of the old and new!
Whether you want to use it as a base and pop in and out, or you want to unwind and relax, you're in the perfect place! The location means you're in the the main retail / eating areas of Stamford within a couple of minutes - but if you just want to say in, the living area boasts the most comfortable sofas, a 50" LG Smart TV with Sonos soundbar, with Waitrose just around the corner to stock up on drinks and nibbles for an evening in!
Proclaimed by Sir Walter Scott as “the finest stone town in England”, Stamford was declared a conservation area in 1967. It has over 600 listed buildings of mellow limestone in the town centre including five medieval churches, all real gems.
We love spending time in Stamford. It boasts some amazing pubs, independent restaurants and shops, and lots of great eateries, cafes and breakfast options - and is a fantastic place to wander around and soak up the atmosphere and views.
Stamford is also very well known for its stately home neighbour, Burghley House. Home of the globally renowned Burghley Horse Trials, the House also hosts many shows, events, festivals and fairs throughout the year - but even when there's nothing formal happening, it is still an amazing house and grounds to visit.
Stamford is also only a few miles from nearby Rutland Water - so if you're looking for a base to explore both town and countryside, The Old Granary is the perfect place to be...
