Public car park, at cost, 500 yards away. No smoking.. Buttress Retreat is a stylish, yet quaint, holiday home that has been renovated and designed with luxury, style and comfort in mind. The property has been seen on TV ‘Homes under the Hammer’ and the owners have taken time to perfectly design this beautiful holiday home for you to enjoy. Ideally situated set back from the hustle and bustle of the market town of Hebden Bridge yet close enough to walk straight into the town centre. Buttress Retreat provides everything you need to enjoy the time away. It is situated on an elevated cobbled street, known for the recent filming of ’Happy Valley’, which was filmed the next street along!
Entering the property, you are greeted by a cosy open-plan design. The living area benefits from an electric wood burner for you to curl up in front of and enjoy the warmth as your favourite show or movie plays out on the TV after a long day exploring the area. A fully fitted kitchen awaits you providing everything you need to rustle up those home-cooked meals. Not fancy cooking? Why not treat yourself at a local restaurant or get your dinner delivered straight to your door with a local takeaway!
When sleep calls, wander upstairs to be greeted by a cosy double bed. Sink down and rest your head, reset ready for an action-packed day ahead. An en-suite bathroom can also be found benefitting from a shower, wall-mounted heated towel rail, toilet and wash hand basin. Be sure to visit the nearby village of Haworth, famous for being the home of the Bronte sisters and the inspiration for many of their famous novels, as well as a variety of quaint eateries for refuelling before exploring the surrounding moorland.
