Fabulous house

We had a wonderful family reunion in this beautiful house. Everything about it was just fabulous. It had everything we needed and the patio was a great spot for hanging out. Louise was super accommodating and very quick to come back to us if we had questions/requests.

Wonderful property.

Beautifully presented, very well equipped, very comfortable and spotless. Visit area every year for an open art studios event so central location in town excellent for visits and easy access to restaurants etc. Nicest property ever stayed in. Only issue was not receiving information about check in door code until the day before due to arrive. Having booked 6 months before and then hearing nothing more I was beginning to panic. This may be an age thing and uncertainty with computers but found trying to contact property manager and Vrbo codes not working caused me unnecessary worry. Suggest send a message saying will send code a week earlier so that at least know booking in order.

Stunning property in great location

The property could not have been better - every little thing has been thought of (especially impressed with the kitchen equipment and decent-sized pans), it is spacious and extremely comfortable and decorated beautifully - the photos really don't do it justice! Myself and my husband came with our 2 adult children and we each had our own double bedroom and plenty of space to hang out (the board games were great for a rainy day, we hadn't played Cluedo for years!) It is the perfect base to explore the area and there is lots to see. We particularly enjoyed the red kite feeding station at Castle Douglas and the nature reserve at Threave. Also found lots of little walks nearby and there are lots of interesting local shops and galleries. The only downside was that we couldn't stay longer! Absolutely A1 holiday experience - thank you! (and the welcome shortbread were delicious!) :D
