Felt like Home

We were able to go directly to apartment and were met as promised. It was nice, clean and in a nice neighborhood. There are alot of great restaurants in the area, especially La Tavernetta 48. We totally enjoyed our stay there.

We were able to walk to many locations and return to the nice cold air conditioning! Cecilla went above and beyond in communicating and taking care of us..even arranged our transportation..I highly recommend and we hope to return one day to Rome!

Spacious clean apartment in an amazing location

We were able to check-in early due to the flexibility of the owner and property manager. The apartment is clean, spacious, and eclectic. The location is unbeatable in the middle of everything on a quiet charming street with restaurants and gelato just a few steps away and major attractions just a few steps more. This home worked perfectly for our family of 4 for our Rome visit. Would highly recommend and would stay here again!

Perfect Location

This property was a centrally located in Rome! Just a short walk to Pantheon and alleyway restaurants. The entry opened up to a kitchen and dining area large enough to store the bikes we rented! The AC worked amazingly after the heat of the day! The mirror in one of the bathrooms was not hung but we made it work! Clean and I would stay again!

Very nice place

We enjoyed your apartment. The location was excellent. The unit had everything we needed for a lovely stay. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. The only issue I would mention is the moldy smell. It was quite strong. Thank you for opening your unit to us. Loretta

Good location

Apartments spacious and well equipped ut furnishings bit dated. Beds comfortable but needed mattress protectors. Shower small so if you are a slightly big would have difficulty turning around. Area outside scruffy. No one seems to clean up rubbish lying around.

Very nice experience

This was our first time using VRBO. Cecilia was easy to communicate with. I suggest the Whatsapp method if you have a US based telephone. She also allowed us early access to the property which was great due to our morning arrival in Rome. The apartment was well outfitted with everything we needed. There is a grocery store just a five minute walk so we were able to pick up items to make breakfasts. The location is very close to Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. We walked to all of the major Rome attractions. I had read that a few visitors had complained of a musty odor and when we arrived Pietro met us within a few minutes, replaced the room fresheners and explained the lay out so we experienced no negative smells. The air conditioners worked well. If I had to make any complaint it would be the following. We had arrived in Rome after an unusual rain period and the humidity seemed to make the bed linens damp. (Or possibly the housecleaners didnt have the sheets 100% dry when we arrived). There is no clothes dryer or a good place to hang clothing to dry so don't plan on being able to do your laundry. The bathrooms had heated towel racks however I was unable to make them function. Wasn't a big deal. The front bedroom faces the street so plenty of street noise at night until later. I would expect that noise anywhere in central Rome. I would certainly rent the place again and have already recommended it privately. Thank you Cecilia!

Rome experience.

We loved staying at this property. It gives you a place in a neighborhood with many small restaurants and coffee bars where you are among locals. It was perfect for 2 couples. Cecilia was very helpful in booking our transportation from the airport so we didn't have to worry about getting there after our long flights from the US. We would choose to stay there again.

Great location, spacious, and convenient however musty, damp, and cold

Cecilia was very responsive, helpful with transportation arrangements, addressing a couple of maintenance issues, and accommodating our early arrival. There were four of us in the group. Myself, my husband, my mom and her sister. The apartment is very spacious. We did not feel like we were on top of one another. The property was very clean except for the shower by the back bedroom. It had mold and that needs to be addressed. The check in process was easy. The only thing that made me uncomfortable was our passports being photographed on a personal cell phone. I asked why they were being photographed and was told something, but I don't remember what he said. The pictures of the property are accurate. The location is in walking distance to everything. The longest walk was 40 minutes at a leisurely pace. The neighborhood seems like a back alley area but it really gives you a very authentic perspective of living in Rome. We were never uncomfortable walking around day or night. The mattresses on the twin beds in the back bedroom were comfortable for my mom and aunt. The mattress in the main bedroom needs to be replaced. It was not comfortable and I could feel some of the springs in it. For context: I do not like platform beds. I like beds with a mattress and box spring. Very close to restaurants, grocery store, shopping, etc. The apartment is fully stocked so cooking is very easy. Suggestion: offer at least two dish towels and washcloths (for kitchen and bathroom). There is a dishwasher but not enough utensils and such to get more than one day without having to run it. We washed dishes by hand. The biggest issue and it has been commented on many times is addressing how damp and musty the apartment feels and smells. We washed a few things by hand and since there is not a clothes dryer, the items have to air dry. It took two days for the items to dry. Suggestion: offer floor fans for guests to use to dry clothes or add a clothes dryer to the apartment. We checked in November 2nd and checked out November 5th. The weather was warm during the day but cooler at night, so we didn't need to run the a/c units most of the time. A couple of nights it got pretty chilly and we could have used some heat but we made due. If we had plans to stay longer, we would have asked to have the heat on. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. We would stay here again if the above items were addressed.

A quiet condo in an excellent position in Rome

Cecilia's communications made the arrangements for our stay very easy. Upon arrival Piero was there to meet us and gave us useful information about the condo and surroundings. The condo was clean and everything needed was provided. Although very close to Piazza Navona the condo was quiet and well positioned for stores and restaurants. We particularly liked La Tavernetta 48 less than a block away.

Best Location in Rome!

Roomy apartment in the best location to see all the main sights in Rome. We were two “mature” couples who loved the ground floor access directly into the apartment. So much room for us to spread out and have individual privacy. Great restaurants literally around the corner and 15 min walking in every direction gets you to all the sights. Cecelia was great with communication-arranged transport from the airport to the apartment and then from the apartment to the cruise port-very convenient! Our late arrival went smoothly. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location

We really liked this property for the location and ease of booking. Cecilia responded very quickly to my questions and helped to arrange transportation for our group 3x. So grateful for her help to do this. Never met her assistant Pietro but he also was very responsive and helpful. The third bedroom was not really a bedroom but a sofa pullout so the 3rd couple with us didnʻt really have privacy. But that was okay. I only wish there were more necessities for the place like, paper towels/napkins since there was a kitchen. We had to ask for more trash bags and we had to dispose of our own trash. There could have been more bathroom amenities, too, and didnʻt like that we had to pay for more towels since we were staying for 5 nights. I thought there was a clothes dryer but only a washer. It took a long time for clothes to dry because there was no outdoor space to hang clothes or to hang out. Air conditioning was excellent since it was so hot in Roma. The beds were comfortable. Lighting could have been better. Overall, it was a good place to stay and we all had a nice time. The value of the property for the price paid was spot on. Grazie again to Cecilia and Pietro for a great place in Roma!

Busy area

This location is excellent. It is central to many restaurants, tourist sites and shopping. The outside area does not appear the best but there is much improvement happening to other apartments that should help the eye appeal. Rome, itself, could use a little attention to tidiness! The owner is very responsive to requests and issues.

Great location in walking distance of sites

I was traveling with two of my adult grandchildren. We had plenty of room to spread out in this two bedroom, two bathroom apartment. It is located on a quiet alley near to restaurants and in close walking distance of many sites that you’re going to want to see in Rome.

Beautiful apartment, convenient for all the sights.

Booking and communications with Cicely were excellent from the outset. Check in was really easy and the apartment was clean, well equipped and spacious. Highly recommended property!!!! The only downside is the street outside which doesn’t make a great first impression when you arrive, but that’s a small price to pay for the space inside and the convenience to the major sights - Vatican, Coliseum, Spanish steps and Trevi Fountain all within easy walking distance.

Very roomie

We spent 4 nights here, and despite a couple of hiccups, we found it to be comfortable. The layout is very good as it gives you lots of space. We were missing a few items that the cleaning crew overlooked, such as DW tabs, laundry soap, and paper towels. We also had a broken toilet and hot water heater. The response of the manager was swift and both issues were handled as quickly as could be expected. The location is 20 min from the colosseum, the Vatican, and 10 from Trevi Fountain. Lots of restaurants within walking distance in the maze of alleys, and the BEST gelato within two minutes walk at Della Palma.
