Great location, good for a place to sleep, but cold & basic.
PROS: Great location! Walkable to gunwarf, canoe lake, the pier, restaurants, and fun shopping. The yard size was great! The home was totally clean and well cared for. Wi-fi worked well, there was plenty of space in the living room and dining room. All kitchen appliances worked well and the kitchen was stocked with the essentials. Complaints: You have to get through 3 locks to enter the home-a skeleton key for the main gate which has to be locked coming back in, there was a key for the door as well as a key for the bottom of the door, which had to be locked on the inside as well. I highly suggest upgrading this system and, for my next point, putting an inside security lock in. The morning following our arrival, a handiman entered the home without knocking and my daughter was in the bathroom on the toilet without a shirt on. The bathroom faces the front entrance. Although I don't think that he saw her, she was mortified and for the rest of the week would not sleep in her own bed as she was scared this man would return. It still made us uneasy as there was no security lock inside.No central heating and half of the radiators did not work, including the living room which we couldn't use at night because of how cold it was. I messaged on vrbo and text both numbers and no response, so we just had to deal with the cold. Toilet seat was broken, but we fixed it. No dressers for clothes. No games or anything, just basic. Good on a budget, but don't expect much. 0 communication.
