About this property
Comfortable, spacious & filled with character, retaining many of its original features.
The warming atmosphere of this rustic styled home stuns you the moment you step inside the hallway. Featuring an old Victorian half-glazed door and mosaic tile floors, this spacious property exudes a chic and stylish interior set over four floors offering a spectacular sanctuary to relax. This lovingly, restored home is embellished in soft, tasteful fittings such as solid wood antique furniture, exposed beams and a master bedroom that makes you simply not want to leave. Highlighted in the living room, a pair of Heals sofa are joined by a comforting wood burner ideal for a cosy night in front of the TV. This property has many opportunities to sit down, rest and read your favourite book, through to the second lounge or in the snug, enjoy the cosy wood burner and relax to some music within the stone walls.
In the fitting kitchen/dining room, take seat around the oak table with a light, bright outlook to enjoy any meal with your companions. Joining the modernised room are large, glazed, sliding doors exposing the comforting natural lighting that floods the space, allowing you to view the pretty landscape garden and the bluest of skies on a sunny day. The kitchen is well equipped with the essentials you need for the best holiday cooking.
On the first floor, is a lone bedroom featuring a characterful, comfortable double bed, en-suite facilities and a retro, roll top bath within the exciting bedroom. Up to the second floor, two triple bedrooms with bunk beds and a single sleigh bed are presented alongside a family bathroom promoting a large bath and a toilet. Above this floor is an all-exciting master bedroom. This adorns the entire floor, with distinctive sea views and five skylights, the exposed beams and stripped floor makes this bedroom unique and exhilarating. It is also enhanced by a spacious en-suite with a bath/shower and toilet.
Why not enjoy a leisurely lunch, or a summer evening dinner on the captivating patio at the back of the property, beside a large, lawned area which is the perfect spot for children to play in the sun, or under the shade of the ornamental trees that line the garden.
Tan Y Bryn is perfect for family holidays or a group of friends. Situated in a peaceful road and in the popular market town, but also with well-known beaches and coves at Newport Sands close by. The Parrog provides a delightful stretch of coastline. A coast path that twists and turns its way round to the old lifeboat station, sometimes on the beach, at times on the road, and at one point crosses a fantastic causeway built of slates in a herringbone pattern.
